04/3/2019 20:42 | Tanzania changed the game in 2015 regarding VAT They want more out of their GOLD to stop in Tanzania amongst other things Acacia is also affected and now Barrick I can't see things improving in Africa or any other poor country going forwards Mining shares and any commodity shares in such areas are now HIGH risk including OIL , coal , base metals etc , and so it's a avoid for me , though I do like many like the shiny stuff. Don't like the chart set up either | buywell3
04/3/2019 18:14 | Ag Now look at the taxation in each half. Superb Company performance. All loans being repaid and now making profits. | redhill
04/3/2019 17:50 | Yes, city have dumped,.. Anyone new to this, have a look at todays trades, We seem to have held up well | boraki
04/3/2019 17:46 | ag Profits in the second half didn't dip by 87% ! | redhill
04/3/2019 17:30 | I see that the City Financial holding has been dumped in the market. | redhill
04/3/2019 16:27 | That is very strange Redtrend. But I presume it was because he didn't need to - it was being reported on a more than regular basis. Oh... | jc2706
04/3/2019 16:22 | The expansion on its own produced 2% in July 2017 when it was first installed (taken from the 2017 Accounts). That coupled with the original plant in 2014 you're looking at over 5% initially and now since mid-2018, 10%: "The new solar plant, in addition to the 63 kilowatt power (kWp) solar pilot plant deployed in 2014, produces a combined 1040000 kilowatt hours (kWh) per year, supplying on average more than 1500 kWh per kWp, about 10% of the company’s power needs" In any event HFO costs have fallen significantly which you omitted from your running commentary on oil prices when they were increasing... Funny that | redtrend
04/3/2019 15:47 | Shanta Gold present at our ShareSoc seminar in Birmingham on the 19th March which may be of interest to potential investors and current shareholders | sharesoc
04/3/2019 14:05 | Do you know what fraction of SHG's energy use is provided by HFO? Considering it was such a major issue for you when oil prices were on the rise, I assume you know this... | redtrend
04/3/2019 12:54 | Don't worry I think everyone appreciates it JC! He also failed to mention the collapse in oil prices to $50+ when it occurred, yet banged on and on about oil when prices rose to $80+. He failed to quantify what he believed was the input cost attributable to fuel or take into account HFO Plant uses very low cost fuel in the grand scheme and New Luika solar plant reducing fuel dependency. Notwithstanding this, again the irony was not lost. But would you expect anything else from the one-sided troll?! | redtrend
04/3/2019 12:05 | Just me appreciating the irony then AG. | jc2706
04/3/2019 11:09 | @JC2706 - sorry, meant recent high, $1700+ should follow after that. | quigonjin
04/3/2019 11:05 | Eric Zurrin has lost £19,000 already if he were to sell up now, and hey, you cannot live on shares alone. A disappointing share at the moment | boraki
04/3/2019 10:35 | If I were one of the directors, I would be a very unhappy bunny at the share price. They were paid in shares at 5.25p purchase price on 28/2/2019, and now the selling price is 4.7p. They are loosing a lot in just 4 days. That would get me very unhappy with the market at the moment. :-( | boraki
04/3/2019 10:22 | "$1366 ATH" ? Usually ATH = All Time High. What does it mean here? | jc2706
04/3/2019 10:21 | Ironically AG didn't mention when gold was going up, presumably as it doesn't suit the narrative. Unfortunately we all view information through a biased eye. | jc2706 |
