Fortunately for SQZ that became immaterial.

SQZ did of course have interests in drills offshore Morocco, Foum Draa (Dec 13 Cairn) and Sidi Moussa (Oct 14 Genel) but neither came in.

Re Morocco another duff investment was SOU but their interests are onshore. Just got out of that one in time with a small profit at the time of the mention of 'golden tickets' there.

Can't we shove this discussion about attacks to an unfashionable board we don't give a toss about?

If you use twitter...have a look a global militaryinfo and elint news. They're pretty quick on info including retweets of detailed satellite imaging of attacks etc

Agree CcaptainFC, those are my thought exactly. They could not shoot them down as the air defense was pointing in the wrong direction towards Yemen, lol. Manufactured excuses to apply pressure on Iran or attack in order for Trumps re-election.Suspect indeed. AIMO

Its a little out of the norm that 4 days after the attack the only images that seem to be in circulation of the incident are a couple of short video clips taken at night of the fires from a distance and a fews grainy satellite images of smoke that don't really show much. Quiet a contrast to the level of media exposure and high definition imagery we are normally bombarded with by the media. The USA are also now saying the drones came from the direction of Iraqi air space not Yemen.

With the Saudi's saying they can restore output so quickly it doesn't appear like much of the infrastructure has been damaged its amazing they are able to asses the damage in so little time let alone remove and replace damaged infrastructure. I would have thought it might take several weeks to assess the extent of damage with associated lead times to manufacture and replace as you would think would be the case in such a petrochemical instillation.

All sounds a bit suspect especially as both the UK and USA have sold them billions of dollars worth of air defence tech the sort of kit that can simultaneously track dozens of tennis ball size projectiles travelling at hundreds of miles per hour.

The Saudis also have had in the past a pretty good track record for shooting down multiple drones used in such attacks.

Saudis saying that they can restore output in only 2 to 3 weeks. Oil price falling on that news.
