Like I say you don't know how futures work. Good luck with your investing.

It's you that haven't got a clue GG lol!

>> the gas price may well be higher come December

Thanks for letting us in on that one - you really are so clever! Has it ever not been in living memory?
Prediction of the year as I said!

Bounty Hunter,

Appears you have no idea how futures work.

Perhaps you should call Mitch Flegg and tell him to short the Dec contract....

Understatement of the year?

A lot of us were buying RRE at six quid. Having done that I'm not buying any more but I will add here when funds permit.

Fwiw, I don't think the licence will be a problem.

SQZ is 80% odd gas. Which is prob weighing on the share price Doesn't matter what the future contract says, spot is all that matters, although the gas price may well be higher come December.

If the share price slips back much more will buy back some SQZ. Will see what happens.

Some holders may be selling to buy other stock, perhaps RRE?

Blimey that's some big sells; guess maybe one of the majors top slicing after such large gains. Maybe a TR1 tomorrow?Anyone reckon that a lack of director buys is maybe indicative of some new deal being fairly mature? Otherwise I'd have hoped to see some director accumulation at these prices.

The Dec.19 gas price is 54p which is twice the Aug.19 price.

Yes, but as we progress through the summer the gas spot price should rise which should help the share price. On licence renewal: "Following previous practice, the OFAC License is valid until 31 October 2019, but may be renewed (together with the assurance) on application by Serica UK assuming the conditions continue to be met."

Thank you Bounty. Rhum is a big asset for SQZ and further dilution from its importance would lessen the negative sentiment particularly when it comes to license renewal which I feel is currently inpacting the share price ..(in my opinion)

Yes, although that Iranian risk may have enabled SQZ to negotiate a more favourable deal at the time?

By the way I'm trying to keep the above mentioned list up to date on my mobile chart thread so any mistakes or updates let me know and I'll update it.

Guys..a question.

Of course the Iranian interest in Rhum was an issue when BP were attemting to divest it but as I understand it there would be no such difficulties should Serica attempt to buy further interests in companies trying to sell off part interests in their assets. Is that how others here see it?

Also to be fair, Tony did tell us we were getting a transformational deal in April 2017, some months before. Now we are in Mitch's nudge nudge wink wink territory. Let's hope it doesn't become ooer, missus.
