Congratulations on all your qualifications but where have i ever said demand for gas would ever decrease i agree gas demand will increase but this doesnt mean the price of gas will go up as more supplies come on and if you believe the doom sters climate change is haveing such an effect on our climate and our winters are getting warmer which throws a spanner in the works like this winter where my energy bill is down by at least 25% this yr but we dont know if this will be the norm.

But you have missed the effect of balancing of the grid system by using renewables with energy storage being used which will reduce the need for as many new power stations to be brought on line you just have to look at the constraint payments to all the windturbine companies ie Scottish power paid out over £125 for constraint
Then just look at Australia by 2025 they will have 50% renewable electricity by 2025
hxxp://theconversation.com/at-its-current-rate-australia-is-on-track-for-50-renewable-electricity-in-2025-102903 i wont go any further you can do more research if you want.

As for EV we are many yrs off before they will become the norm we dont have the infrastructure and we need 5g before we can have driverless cars as 4g is just not fast enough

For those focused on the spot gas price today to the exclusion of all else...

50 year seasonality chart:

not UK but the pattern over that length of time follows a similar trend based on what I've seen for shorter term UK natural gas price charts

Fardel

Big boys divesting

SQZ is probably one of the best little oil companies around we both can agree on that but some times its more about timing like NG going down it effects Serica , but ask your self how many Institutes or Pension funds have invested in Serica in the last 12 months and why they havent, its nothing to do with fundies its to go with the longterm out look of the oil industry in general. Which stops SQZ from going to dizzy heights which all share holders think it will.
