23/2/2021 10:34 | Defence spending in the US will not change much IMO and regardless of total spend the sectors Serco has bought into are projected to grow. Lots of ocean to patrol and have fun in around the South China Sea/Pacific and many more ships to be built and serviced. Navigation is paramount and war games need serious tech. | minerve 2
22/2/2021 22:25 | Biden won't reduce defense spending, he's about to take on China, Russia, North Korea & Turkey lol The French are helping out with Turkey and China. The UK is trying to work out which path has the yellow brick road. France and America are trying to preserve the free world. | casholaa
19/2/2021 10:01 | Perhaps some investors aren't keen on the USA defence work...if Biden reduces defence spending Serco could lose out? | brain smiley
19/2/2021 09:39 | So much for the crystal ball | estienne

16/2/2021 10:05 | I stand corrected | leadersoffice
16/2/2021 09:08 | With current interest rates, almost any deal is accretive to earnings if financed by borrowings. But it looks a sensible add-on deal. | 18bt
16/2/2021 08:51 | 'immediately accretive to earnings' - looks a good deal with additional future cost savings. | dendria
16/2/2021 08:45 | US acquisition - NOT contract win. Bought using existing cash/debt facilities and appears to be well received by the market. | redwing1
16/2/2021 08:35 | US contract win. I wouldn't sell. Firm hold. The tide is turning and I believe the results might be encouraging. I'm expecting the re-introduction of the dividend to be announced also next week. I know things have been tuff here but be patient for a little longer and we will be rewarded. | leadersoffice
12/2/2021 16:28 | Well, I suppose, given that there isn't much travel going on, the need for border security isn't so great. | casholaa
11/2/2021 15:51 | Very disappointing share price performance over the past few months, despite the positive updates. What will it take to move it North again, is it sentiment related or something else? | davethehorse
10/2/2021 13:25 | You can now add me to the p*ssed off bench. | casholaa
10/2/2021 12:18 | Believe Serco report finals on 25/02. | onesock
09/2/2021 18:51 | Ooohhh, wonder what that could be... | davethehorse
09/2/2021 16:30 | @dave could be a nice day tomorrow, despite the snow. | casholaa
08/2/2021 22:37 | Have you found any news on this regards a possible date at all please? | mrsd1
08/2/2021 09:37 | The slide continues, chart awful and looks a strong sell on technicals. Needs some really good news to turn it around. | davethehorse
06/2/2021 10:18 | Results soon, if they can announce the long awaited return of the divi that would undoubtedly improve sentiment. Got this on my watchlist but wont move until I see the results. | salpara111
04/2/2021 15:17 | Some negative comment in the media this week re cyber attacks at Serco | davethehorse
04/2/2021 14:06 | The reason for the 'buyback' has been known for some time. | casholaa
04/2/2021 14:03 | I think, generally, a 'buyback' would actually have a positive effect on the sp, however, it's a small 'buyback' so I doubt the positive effect would be significant. The lost the nuclear contract with the UK which I think was worth around £20m p/a, but that only has limited significance. I'd look at the fundamentals and factor in the possibility of being undercut for government contracts due to the financial damage suffered by the UK and other countries when looking at this, although, governments don't like change.... so it may be secure in that regard. All the best. | casholaa
02/2/2021 11:00 | Back in yesterday at 117p, surely this is great value sub 130p? | davethehorse
01/2/2021 13:50 | Are the SRP share buy backs holding it back? i.e being held back to achieve a lower buy back price?? | davethehorse |
