31/1/2020 11:56 | Agreed - director / senior management buying is long overdue. | ![]() zulu_principle
31/1/2020 11:50 | Thanks but doubt it. SENS is listed, even if only AIM, so not illiquid in the way that private companies areSaw that article last Sunday and don't think WG are very credible brokers to a deal that size anywaySENS could usefully tell us what they are doing to get Woodford off the register and it would be good to see some director buyingMrC | ![]() mrc2u
31/1/2020 11:03 | C2u - According to the Sunday Times WG Partners have until today to keep their exclusive option to buy twenty of Woodford's illiquid scientific startups for about £550m (I'm assuming Sensyne is one of these but could obviously be wrong). The Times article reckoned progress had been slow but makes the point that they might be able to get an extension. My guess is this morning's drop is associated with the Woodford overhang - if a buyer can't be found around current prices that doesn't look good. Having said that there have been some large recent buys (200 - 500k) so I'm staying put even though my average cost is a shade over 80p and I should have stop-lossed out long ago. | ![]() zulu_principle

31/1/2020 09:53 | Weird reversal of recent gains on small volumes. Has anyone got any insights? Or even random guesses?MrC | ![]() mrc2u
31/1/2020 08:31 | BBC also covering the story of Exscientia's first in-human 'AI' drug trial The closest comparitor to Exscientia quoted on UK market is E-Therapeutics (ETX) I noted SENS congratulated Exscientia on Twitter | ![]() the stigologist
30/1/2020 10:00 | Exscientia a $1bn Unicorn seems the closest comparitor to ETX ETX at £10m Mkt Cap looks incredibly undervalued to me | ![]() the stigologist

29/1/2020 16:39 | There is certainly a lot of activity today with some more big buys. Over 2 million shares traded and up to 60/65. Happy that it is moving in the right direction. | ![]() billy3

29/1/2020 03:17 | I'm not convinced PJT (on behalf of Link) have sold any. More likely they are looking to offload in one or two/three blocks. Or as part of a package including other WIM positions. Link appointed BlackRock to sell off the fund's larger, easier-to-trade holdings and private equity specialists PJT Park Hill to offload the portfolio's unquoted and listed, but hard-to-trade investments. Link has so far offered no indication of when investors are likely to receive the proceeds of PJT Park Hill's sales. In its previous letter to investors earlier this month Link said it would 'continue to work with Park Hill to explore opportunities for the sale of assets'. Ryan Hughes, head of active portfolios at AJ Bell, said while this week's payment represented 'the first day of closure' for investors in the fund, 'there is still huge uncertainty around the money still stuck in illiquid assets'. 'Investors will be acutely aware that a large portion of their investment remains trapped in the illiquid, unquoted holdings that Park Hill are trying to sell. Selling the liquid holdings was the easy bit,' he said. 'For Park Hill, it is a hugely challenging task to sell the illiquid holdings in a timely fashion and investors still remain in the dark as to how long they will have to wait for the remainder of their money, and importantly, how much they are actually likely to get back.' | ![]() rambutan2

26/1/2020 10:17 | The Murdoch Times A lying loss making rag which promotes Murdoch's foul right wing propaganda and has its own issues with 'corporate governance' having a pop at a Labour peer who wants to protect NHS Data (OUR Data!)from being stolen by US firms. Do you really need this spelling out to you? | ![]() the stigologist
26/1/2020 09:23 | Sunday Times "The sorry, sorry, sorry story of Lord Drayson's start-uo" Well worth a read for any of those thinking of investing and in particular (imo) for any of those thinking of cutting losses. "middle of a corporate governance crisis" "Dyson has repeatedly declined to answer questions" | ![]() pugugly
23/1/2020 10:21 | I'm no expert but PYC doesn't look too promising. Sure some big companies come to it for a job or two but it's not cutting edge stuff or rocket science and any of the big boys could just start doing it themselves quite easily with a couple of data analysts and six months to get upto speed. But again, I've only had a cursory look. What do you see in it I haven't ? | ![]() cokehookerscars
23/1/2020 09:43 | Very odd comment for a Company whose share price (equity currency) and cash are both depleting Obviously they must be expecting share price to improve and understand they are in a land grab phase so it's 'eat or be eaten' ? I would point once again to ETX E-therapeutics Mkt Cap £10m PYC Physiomics Mkt Cap £2m which look crazily undervalued when Private UK Unicorns like Exscientia and BenevolentAI valued at $1000m+ (vs SENS at £60m Mkt with £40m cash) Sensyne Health on the acquisition trail to halt decline in share ... Sensyne Health said that it was “exploring a small number of strategic [mergers and acquisitions] opportunities that have the potential to scale our businessmore quickly to achieve a leadership position in the clinical artificial intelligence market and create value for shareholders”. | ![]() the stigologist
