I don’t think this is a particularly significant announcement.
But anything that involves covid has to be a good thing.

The market seems to like it and it is helping the price carry on upwards.
The announcements keep on coming :-)

on acacia - just think what they picked it up for - discounted when share price was near 30p!! makes me really sick for the woodford holders - guess they are best off ignorant to that fact.

I suppose what is interesting is how much of a seller Acacia is. I think the mkt had assumed they would dump big time almost regardless of price, as they had with other Link stuff they'd got hold of. Hence the horribly low share price for much of the year. However, if, as looks the case so far, they are sitting tight or just selling down v slowly, then there are few loose shares around to supply demand as the good news flows.

Clifford Press, CEO of Acacia Research , commented:

" We recognise the extraordinary potential of Sensyne's business model as conceived and implemented by Lord Drayson. As governance-oriented investors, we are impressed by the constructive manner in which Sensyne has engaged with us as a major shareholder. We strongly support the continued development of a very talented management team for the next stage of the Company's growth."

Yes indeed.Deals of 100k and one for 250k.
They are clearly buys (not all shown as such) as the price is holding.
Probably more in the wings.

Thanks for that link. Very interesting.
I like the word ‘monetise̵7;. So basically instead of spending cash on just new ideas form the ground up and reinventing the wheel, they are taking Clinical processes that are already out there and using Microsoft technology, cloud, algorithms to gather the date and anaylyse what is already there.

Amazing statistic that in 1 day in the US there were more remote consultations than in the whole of the previous years.

We have seen with the likes of Apple Watch what remote monitoring can do.

I was at a presentation a good few years ago with an ED consultant who is a uk leading clinician. Even then he was getting excited about how in a few years, a watch or similar device would be able to monitor people and basically detect illness. I guess this is the future and the cloud technology will be what will be used. Interesting that Microsoft will be selling Sensyne products on their list of tools. I only use the watch as an example. I had flu (yes proper flu when I lost half a stone in bed in 3 days) 2 years ago. My Fitbit showed my heart rate rising over a week and staying over 100 resting for 2 days. It took 2 weeks to get back to normal. If I’m ever feeling unwell, I look at my daily average rate now to see if there is any change. Technology is amazing !

The interview was a good insight and gives me confidence that this company is a bit of a dark horse and one to be in on the ground floor for the future.

i suspect this is not likely to happen and is simply a formal process. given the level of cash burn it would not get my vote at all.

The AGM is on Friday. I have just had a look at the agenda.

Why would the company want to do a share buyback in order to cancel shares at this stage ? Clearly it would boost the share price but would reduce profits. You usually see this in a company with plenty of profit looking to reduce shares in issue.

Any thoughts ?

Sensyne Health strengthens technological and commercial ties with Microsoft

Practically, the enhanced tie-up is set to deliver the latest 'cloud-first' healthcare systems and cutting-edge predictive machine learning algorithms
Sensyne Health PLC -

Sensyne Health PLC (LON:SENS) said it has extended its relationship with Microsoft to become a strategic partner of the US software giant with the pair working together on the former’s clinical AI and health cloud technologies.

Practically, the enhanced tie-up is set to deliver the latest 'cloud-first' healthcare systems and cutting-edge predictive machine learning algorithms.

With Microsoft’s help, Sensyne said it aims to create “highly configurable” healthcare technologies that are globally deployable and able to meet local, clinical and regulatory needs.

To do this it will have early access to the international tech group’s tools, enabling it to build new products with state-of-the-art features to enhance usability and cyber-security.

Commercially, the alliance will help broaden Sensyne’s sales channels.

The pair will ‘co-sell’; two Sensyne products: SEND, a remote monitoring system for vital signs in hospitals; and GDm-Health, a prescribed digital therapeutic for the management of diabetes during pregnancy at home.

Also......most of the trades are showing up as sells on my info.
I suspect the 150k was a buy and there are more buyers in the wings. The bid was raised to bring in shares to sell.

There is little press coverage on SENS. About time that changed as it seems to be living up to its prospectus plans.

Looking at the state of the rest of the markets, we need this to cheer us up today !

This share is starting to become the one that keeps on giving.
The announcements keep coming.

All we need now is a takeover bid lol.
The current market price for a big pharmaceutical to buy in is a bargain when the potential is considered.

this feels a lot more than a 10% move announcement. if microsoft see value in sensyne proposition that is more than a sling shot for its chances of success imo.

Did anyone notice this one this morning ? Another anouncement.
I'm wondering about the value of the info Sens will receive considering the shares they are giving the trust as well as 250k per year plus royalties. Seems rather generous.

I imagine Drayson is very keen to get these back to IPO price so his incentive plan can kick in. That's 175p and well below broker targets
