18/3/2011 12:42 | Sahre of the month in March edition of Eavesdropper. Given the potential the shares look cheap at current levels. | raysor
28/2/2011 14:58 | Results were good and it's an extremely well managed company. However, I sold half of mine first thing mainly because it looks like 2011 will only have pedestrian growth before it picks up in 2012 as Boeing and Airbus increase build rates and the 787 finally gets into production. Will certainly buy back if it drops to 130p. | wjccghcc

Group Highlights - Increased revenues from the military and defence, land vehicle and semi-conductor markets - Group's focus on operational efficiencies resulted in much improved margins - Record level of adjusted profit before tax - Continuing strong cash flow delivered a GBP39m reduction in net debt - Acquisition of WahlcoMetroflex in August 2010; integration on track - Airbus and Boeing announced significant future build rate increases for most of their aircraft - Strengthening customer relationships leading to increased opportunities Commenting on the results, Martin Clark, Chairman of Senior plc, said: "Senior has delivered an excellent set of results for 2010. Adjusted profit before tax increased by 36% to record levels, driven by significant margin improvements, and healthy operating cash flow resulted in a net debt reduction of GBP39m to GBP64m. Trading has been in line with expectations at the start of 2011 and this, combined with the strong 2010 performance and healthy long-term prospects for the Group, gives the Board the confidence to recommend a 20% increase in the full-year dividend for 2010." | johnsoho
07/2/2011 17:19 | Currently a bit quiet here and I've been out of SNR for while having taken some profit, but continue to monitor & maintain the header. I fully intend to return and was close to buying back in last week on temp drop, but chose FENR instead. Time will tell if it was the right decision. | mazarin
06/1/2011 14:30 | Hope so mazarin. I added today. Good sign that there are not a lot of posters here. Once news gets out we should have a few more | volsung
06/1/2011 12:58 | Out of interest I've just made a note of 'sp' progress during last year. My post 1573 recorded that it closed end of 2009 at 75p and we saw it reach £1.50 by the end of 2010, therefore SNR achieved a healthy 100% growth throughout the whole year. I wonder where we'll be this time next year....? So far looking good to be on course for further growth this coming year, I think. | mazarin
06/1/2011 09:35 | I hold but its not much of a target -160p is it? | volsung
06/1/2011 08:08 | From Investors Inteligence this morning...... Portfolio Update Our second trade of the year: a long in Senior. The stock edged to a new high yesterday, eyeing to for a sprint to 160p. | mechanical trader
05/1/2011 16:40 | Nice quiet board - not a lot of craic but sometimes its nice to just rest a while looking at the ascending chart | volsung
04/1/2011 15:41 | In for a few. Nice prospects | volsung
02/1/2011 21:26 | Prospects look superb for 2011. Just keep topping up before results in February! | loftgroov
23/12/2010 16:40 | Superb looking chart and reckon we are looking at a much higher share price to come in the new year. | old joe1
15/12/2010 10:10 | Today's pre-close trading statement confirms Senior's current trend as it tops forecasts. | mazarin

09/12/2010 13:01 | Been quiet here for a month or so! Trading announcement next week and I look forward to further improvement in profitability. Recent pull back an opportunity to buy IMO. | montyville2
05/11/2010 18:30 | It's a different engine in the 787. Baffling but who's complaining! S | smarm
05/11/2010 17:13 | But there using RR engines in the new Boeings. | broadwood
05/11/2010 12:22 | maybe its the Rolls Royce/Airbus/Quantas problem. | honiton
05/11/2010 11:12 | Agreed, so perhaps it is just coincidental, but whatever's driving it, something's making it 'fly' today and £1.50's getting ever nearer as we speak, whilst the FTSE's currently down 28....! | mazarin
05/11/2010 11:01 | Can't see that as the reason. the QE2 package has been widely touted for weeks. | broadwood
05/11/2010 08:26 | May I suggest its a possible reaction to the latest US QE program that should help the likes of Boeing and indirectly SNR, as suggested a couple of weeks ago. See 2065 | mazarin
04/11/2010 13:57 | It seems to be actually helping. A bit weird. | broadwood |
