04/11/2010 11:41 | I was worried that today's R Royce engine failure might affect the price because of possible delays. Seems unfounded. | broadwood
25/10/2010 13:02 | Presumably today's steady rise ahead of Ex-Div on Wednesday...could be just a response to FTSE sentiment, surely not worth chasing a 1p Div in my view. | mazarin
20/10/2010 16:39 | 19-Oct-10 Brewin Dolphin Buy 137.00p Old Target 163.00p New Target 171.00p | dcb
20/10/2010 15:59 | I reckon this will soon recover to recent levels once yesterday's Presentation to Investors & Analysts has been duly chewed over and digested (as referred to in Interim Results Statement). | mazarin
18/10/2010 14:42 | I'm sure it will be mild nervousness ahead of the IMS tomorrow after such a storming run. Recent trading statements have been exceptionally positive so the language needs to be in the same vein tomorrow. As usual, its the outlook statement that determines where the price goes from here. | broadwood
18/10/2010 14:37 | I can't see why the share price dropped 4p just after opening today, with hardly any sells and no specific negative news about, even at 13.42hrs with currently at 173.9k volume, the share price remains down 3p or so. Also strange to see a total of 13 deals go through, some only of 34 shares or even fewer that is cost effectively pointless. Today's fall makes no sense, unless there's a general concern about the impact of Government spending on the sector, but I would have thought that by now had already been factored in. I remain puzzled and suspect some market manipulation ahead of tomorrow's Interim statement, who knows. | mazarin

14/10/2010 14:31 | gco1133a : Excuse my ignorance...but what is an IMS ? A trading update announcement? | wendsworth
14/10/2010 12:27 | Bae also doing well at the moment. Rumour may use Euro fighter for the new carriers, ?? Maybe find out on the 20th with the spending review | ferries5
14/10/2010 10:22 | Most likely a good IMS coming I would think. | gco1133a
13/10/2010 22:19 | An interesting comment for today's upward movement is suggested by 'Peter' on III BB, namely that US FED is contemplating another Quantitive Easing program that potentially could benefit companies like of Boeing, hence SNR, but I still think we may soon see an RNS re: increased Institutional holding that may explain why people are currently taking an added interest in SNR. | mazarin
13/10/2010 20:47 | Spudders - Since the breakout from the flag on 6th Sept, followed by MACD xover and rising RSI the 20 EMA has proved strong support. Strong breakout today on decent volume. Will it hold? RSI is abit toppy but can remain so for long periods and we hit the top of it's envelope today. Slight pullback on low volume over the next week and consolidation above 138p or so will do me just fine. I find the whole market a tad confusing at the moment but we can only go with the flow until the flow changes. Giz | gizmo14
13/10/2010 17:41 | Senior (SNR) closed at 147.30p and gained +7.91% on the day. Good performance by any standard and there's got to be something behind it....? It would be interesting to know who's actually buying' at these recent historic highs. I've looked around, but currently haven't been able to find anything yet.....still looking. | mazarin
13/10/2010 17:25 | Gizmo - Whats your take on the chart now. What happened today with the share price :))) | spudders
13/10/2010 14:38 | IMS on the 19th? | dancing piranha
11/10/2010 14:29 | Sprouted some wings so far today. No specific reason I can find at the moment. | broadwood
05/10/2010 20:41 | Spudders, ...so far. Prudence would say to take all/part profits on the failure to close above 138p on 1st OCT, depending on your trading/investing timescale of course. I would be wanting a full candle close above 138p before adding, which IMO is a when, not if. Giz | gizmo14
05/10/2010 19:50 | Gizmo, your chart is starting to look good :) | spudders
01/10/2010 16:46 | According to Digital Look Jefferies has a target price of 155p. AO | a0148009
30/9/2010 21:10 | We've been here before....138p proved strong resistance in the past. A breakout and close above 138p would be very positive. To borrow a phrase 'We wait' (Thanks S).. Giz | gizmo14
30/9/2010 14:34 | Feels like more than a Broker upgrade, but who knows? | gco1133a
30/9/2010 08:29 | broadwater - thanks I am currently running a long spread bet. Has been a nice trading stock - buying in the teens and selling in the 30's but do not want to miss the breakout! AO | a0148009
30/9/2010 08:22 | Senior initiated with buy rating at Jefferies. No target price. | broadwood
30/9/2010 08:14 | Who has upgraded and do you have any specific comment. Many thanks. AO | a0148009 |
