I have given my predictions elsewhere. There is absolutely no investment case left for this company.
Their most valuable remaining asset was the listing and the team crashed the company losing it.
Now, the guys that brought SER to this unprecedented low say "vote us in , or else we will vote to wind up"
I can see only one reason why they are so keen to grab the purse strings.
Now private ; what scrutiny will their be of their stewardship?
Its like a smash and grab imo.

It may just be in his head anyway. He is clearly disturbed. If he thinks a castle is a £35 a night bed and breakfast, then London commercial property might mean a fish and chip shop in Grimsby.

I have 'some' knowledge of the London property market in my veins even though that is a tongue in cheek comment for Cyan to grin at, i agree on the person's ability to get into a market at the top and lose on the way down (as the sharepickers percentages show), but i thought for one split moment when reading the tweet, "Should he first get on the property ladder instead of living with mum and dad in their B&B before attempting to corner the London Market?"

Cyan
Take a look at my 'snout trough' explanation i posted recently.

Hi Le_com.
He has not got much time for SER now it appears. Looks like a private SER is in its death throes with the non-oil men to take charge.
I expect all remaining value (cash) to disappear and a wind up announcement in 6 months.
I have never seen such an unattractive investment 'case'.
No-one in their right mind will invest in this money pit.

That signals the top of the London property market then.......which we all knew anyway as interest rates begin to rise and the bubble bursts.

Looks like he is moving into commercial property in London now.

Cyan, do you think he may end up copying Hampton's London & Counties and spend the next 140 years tweeting to everyone about how every other estate agency on the planet is scum and that his family discovered London?

El C,

I guess she's happy just banking the cheques he is paying her to promote himself!

After all if your only clients are Golden Saint and ADVFN, what have you got to lose, reputation wise?

I think he is in a world of his own. Probably a reasonably good upbringing but not in the real world, and he hasnt been able to escape that. Its bad enough saying your family own half of Birmingham, or invested oil in the North sea, but it is worse repeating it. If they invented the incredibly well designed paper tray is again up for question.

If he is certifiable, surely the people around him, especially the PR woman, who is repeating his rants, should step into to help him? It is much her fault as his.

Le_c,

I agree, he's either having a breakdown or is a total narcissist.

Yes he, and Stefanie for that matter, are both increasingly embarrassing themselves in front of right minded people

Hell, next time he's in London I'll invite him to my club so that he can boast he has actually been inside a Mayfair club, and be honest about it!

Genuine offer Chris, but don't bring CJ or it's off!

The trouble is a few people found themselves having to do doing a background check on the guy and are aware of the fantasy fuelled claims.

I have said it before but i feel rather sad when i hear the latest tweets and statements, as i am completely serious when i say it feels as though he is having a nervous breakdown.
Forever fighting his corner with ever increasing claims such as 'owning half of Birmingham" and private members clubs without checking that the club in question was closed that evening as it was hosting a members event in Knightsbridge.

I would not wish such a breakdown on anyone so hopefully, he will start to take stock of just how much he is embarrassing himself in front of an ever growing social media audience, that surely must feel like they are watching a train-wreck in slow motion.

Very sad and a small part of my conscience feels sorry for the guy as he is clearly losing all track of realism since the SER debacle.

It reads as though he doesn't give a monkeys that "his family found the North Sea"

Which is probably just as well, because nobody else does either!

Cue multiple retweets from PR Girl Stefania!

Hi Guys.
Andy , I do not read CO's blog as its self serving drivel and why give him a fraction of a penny in income. I was unaware of his cheery xmas message!

The man is not on this planet. Did you read this tweet?;

And now it ends, about time.

No doubt there will be some that keep this thread open (for many years to come), not a pass-time I would enjoy myself……

Adios Sefton it was entertaining back in the day.

I think your post was meant for me :)

Yes Cape Town is very beautiful but could never match London at Christmas which is why we prefer to walk in the snow and rain.

Most of the elder members of my family moved to Cape Town in the 80's with mysef being the last to move over, but my wife's family still live in Berkshire and this is one of the few times of year when she gets to spend time with them and they get to see the kids.

Apparently chrisoil has blogged that he has booked a place at the INDABA conference in the new year and interested in buying up mining licences, so i do hope he behaves himself as there is a certain business etiquette in Cape Town which will be able to see through any BS.

Do you know the Queen's Head in Brooke Green at all? Many a drunken memory.

El C,

I'm very close to Brooke Green, within half a mile.

Cape Town must be so beautiful even if it isn't as vibrant as London at night.

You're doing well if you can get tickets for the Emirates, not easy. I may be there after Xmas.

I don;t have any sympathy for Stefania, she could always say no and tell him how childish he is being. Probably not good for the long term career, but it would show she had integrity.

She must surely realise how stupid she looks when she makes those tweets?

Cyan,

I wouldn't trust him with the family tree, never mind the family silver.

He seems to have an abundance of narcissistic tendencies.

Thanks Le_com.
Over the years I have observed Chrisoils behaviour little has changed imo. He is not mentally ill , imo, he has a personality disorder NPD.
He is in his own fantasy world again today;

Santerra Energy also another fine company Going UP

Both shares actually down.

I have never seen a million quid so recklessly 'invested' and blown so quickly.
That family trust is not looking so good now.
