On the otherhand Elizabeth Windsor is a far closer neighbour to myself at around a 3 mile distance from my humble abode!

I find it more interesting that he seems to define a successful business as one with a track record like this:

Elsie, at least Loverat's post has some relevance to this thread, as the article was written by SER CEO. As for his business acumen just sit back and admire the advfn share price performance over the past 10 years!

Seems apparent that this board has been talking at cross purposes for much of the last couple of pages. Of course those who have been around for a few years and take note of what is going on can spot the errors.

No surprise that the very worst this site has to offer are those reaching the wrong conclusions and posting before engaging their brain.

Soul Limbo and Stig might recall that it was this tendency that got them into well publicised bother previously - making them look like complete plums.

I wouldn't be too worried about the grammatical and spelling errors that litter his writing Andy. It's pretty clear to me that they're typographical mistakes generated by a man typing in a fog of lunatic fury.

I cannot take him seriously at all. He goes from one post claiming criticism of BMD and Chris Oil should be disregarded as it’s based on nothing more than bias and hearsay to the next post in which he makes the most outrageous slurs in the direction of Raylene Whitford based on nothing more than bias and hearsay.

Quite frankly the latest entry is in all probability actionable, although to date I note RW has maintained a dignified silence in the face of his barrage of ludicrous accusations and I hope she maintains that.

He also seems to think that a finance professional (in the process of being forced out of her position) establishing a limited company from what is, in all probability her residential address is indicative of fraud. The relevance of the property's market value escapes me and I do know that he doesn't live in London so can't be expected to understand the local market but as someone who has an office less than a 10 minute walk from the flat in question I can attest that £375k for 2 bedrooms there does not make it a luxury penthouse or anything close. The fact that she had somewhere to live while employed by Sefton, he seems to be implying, means she must have dishonestly misappropriated funds to pay for it.

It's ludicrous and you're right, it’s absolutely not journalism. It's a mean-spirited and unjustified attempt to muck-rake where there's no muck to rake prompted by his failure to accept that his unquestioning belief in the line he was fed by BMD and Chris Oil has led to him losing £100k or whatever it is.

A year or more back I found him to be a pleasant and rational contributor to this forum. I am amazed that it’s the same man coming out with this. I'm less surprised that he chooses to do it on his own blog rather than on a public bulletin board where his more ridiculous assertions can be more transparently questioned.
