19/5/2019 21:24 | This will present an opportunity for some to make so good gains. - Debt free with cash in the bank. - Solid P2 reserves. - Large production increase around the corner with SD. | brasso3
19/5/2019 21:15 | There's some serious confidence rebuilding needed now thanks to PW. | gisjob2
19/5/2019 20:52 | Success rate with the drill was never down to Welch | ghaon
19/5/2019 19:23 | Get someone competent in and more honest (they all lie don't they) and SDX still has the potential to be a great investment. | shakeypremis
19/5/2019 13:52 | PW was useless at CHAR and been just as bad here. | 11_percent
19/5/2019 13:10 | Has any1 used brokers X-O(by jarvis) or iweb-sharedealing(by halifax)? ii increasing fees on June 10th, so its time I finally left them. Both x-o and iweb have a simple flat trade fee of £5.95 per trade and have no monthly/yearly admin fees or inactivity fees. | carlsagan1
19/5/2019 12:44 | Amongst all the anguish there's a v important point about probity and Directors' liability. Imho Squelchy has a legitimate case to answer in the courts for deliberately and consistently misleading investors who as a result have lost out financially. AIM is under the spotlight here too. If this was a footsie 100 CEO the institutions would be screaming blue murder. He should be disqualified from holding office as a Director - he's demonstrably failed the "fit and proper" person test hasn't he? | swindon41
19/5/2019 11:00 | Shakeypremis ...I think the contractors will get paid by Egyptian government… That's not what the RNS says. It says the contractors in question belong to the State and the cost of using them is offset against the outstanding receivable. That means the contractor entity receives no cash but the state's liabilities are reduced. For the state it clearly makes sense for them to use their in house contractors to do work that brings in cash rather than do work that reduces the national debt. That may well explain the delays in getting the contract work done. T | tournesol
19/5/2019 10:55 | I don't know what good it did him but his ramping certainly allowed someone to exit without as much pain as would otherwise have been the case. | haideralifool
18/5/2019 14:22 | Sdx could have been such a great investment in the right hands but PW betrayed shareholders. He gave a video interview as recent as last month with no mention of any production or customer issues in Morocco. Guess he thought he couldn't admit to this while at the same time mentioning the possible delay at SD. The fact is PW missed all his KPI's and was economical with the truth, he had to go. I can't see much happening over the summer or SDX suddenly delivering on anything ahead of time and it wouldn't surprise me if SD slipped further into H1 2020. SDX have lost a lot of trust recently, sad really after such great drilling results last year. If you're willing to hold for 12-18 months things may improve but SDX have a credibility issue now. Who knows whether the share price will be punished further in the meantime, surely it can't drft much more. | gisjob2
18/5/2019 11:18 | A good indication of gas prices in Morrocco is what has been negociated by SOU. I think it's around US$ 8.50 to 9 according to current oil prices, to which the sale price is indexed. | napoleon 14th
17/5/2019 20:32 | Up. Today's sale is a huge over-reaction. The gas and oil are still there in the ground, waiting to be sold. The market cap is heading so low, if the company stopped most capex for a year, it would have cash in the bank equivalent to its entire market value, effectively valuing all future production at zero. Even AIM can't sustain such a valuation for long. We all know SDX has good financial management, real assets, and good exploration prospects and staff. All it needs is delivery of SD and and a big sales push in Morocco, perhaps at lower prices if necessary to hook in new customers. A CEO who doesn't overpromise and who focuses on operational delivery would help too. I suspect the reason SD is delayed to Q4 2019 is that they are abandoning the EPS at SD. This should save the company a few quid of capex. | matchmade
17/5/2019 20:30 | Maybe, but no reason to buy for Months. Morocco nowhere near the targets set and South Disouq delayed. May be a long summer. | gisjob2
17/5/2019 19:07 | Up. Bad news out of the way. | ghaon
17/5/2019 18:44 | FFS. Where is this going now. | ifthecapfits
17/5/2019 18:27 | 5m sell at 24p | croasdalelfc
17/5/2019 14:11 | Welsh has lied through his teeth for months if not years. I cannot believe that it appears we cannot even sell all the gas that we produce now in Morocco. Compare that with Welsh's recent comments. What an absolute shafting for all lth and maybe more to come. Looks like being manipulated to go private. | dsmith57
17/5/2019 13:12 | Malcy is as bad as May.... | deanroberthunt
17/5/2019 13:04 | Next to go will probably be AK @ SAVP. AIM is full of these types of CEOs' and BoD members. Actually good to see one (PW) being held to account and getting the push | plentymorefish
17/5/2019 12:57 | I wouldn't want SOCO to go near this as a potential acquisition - or not without a helluva due diligence on exactly what has been the real reasons for the SD delays......frankly, it stinks due to Squelchie's continued lies and inability to fess up to delay after delay. Malcy has done himself one more disservice by taking the lucre from yet another discredited AIM CEO. Very disappointing but at least the Board have finally seen the light | swindon41 |
