17/5/2019 08:16 | Money Money Money....Malcy is just paid to ramp....simples | deanroberthunt
17/5/2019 08:14 | Was never keen on PW at CHAR. Couldn't really understand Malcy's love-in with him. | gisjob2
17/5/2019 08:03 | Expected open c.15... PW getting kicked out must have tempered the fall | the drewster
17/5/2019 08:02 | Today's RNS seems to me to be a profit warning combined with a grudging and rather unclearly stated admission that the SD project has slipped yet again. As far as the latter goes, production at SD is now being promised by end Q4. That means that in the past 12 months the project has slipped by a staggering 12 months. Even in Egypt, that is appalling. Given previous form in this respect, I expect the Q4 date has been plucked from the air to minimise embarrassment by keeping it in 2019. I do not for one minute expect it to be achieved. I am interpreting PW's departure as the board giving him his cards because of the repeated failings on display here. I am surprised that some people here are in any way surprised by this. Just go back and read the previous operational update and the ensuing discussion. Reading between the lines, I thought the message was pretty clear and bailed out then. And said exactly why. See posts 7503 - 7541. SDX was a very appealing story but the story-teller turned out to be wearing rose tinted spectacles. As soon as you realise that, the investment case falls apart. | tournesol
17/5/2019 08:02 | Jeez, another Malcy load of shi'ite | deanroberthunt
17/5/2019 07:57 | I think the market will have a positive take on this. The assets are class but PW has let the side down with over promising and under delivering. The operational team at SDX has been exceptional and only one dry well from memory. | brasso3
17/5/2019 07:55 | Don't really understand the spike in price late yesterday. Can only assume news broke to some about PW being given his marching orders after missing his KPI's. | gisjob2
17/5/2019 07:46 | Can't sell gas in Morocco and down tools in Egypt until a further delayed oil production to 4th qtr.. sell up and come back in 6 months. | owenga
17/5/2019 07:33 | Been following SDX for some months, I must say today's RNS comes as a shock. Whoever bought in yesterday's spike up must be cursing. GLAH | sleveen
17/5/2019 07:32 | maybe delisting has a legal aspect to it - when digging starts/if it does | kaos3
17/5/2019 07:27 | "through the use and optimization of the liquidity that we have available in the Company today" (that is all we have in translation - how much is that btw) and "emphasises our commitment to capital and fiscal discipline in the business going forward" (from now on in translation) WTF went on behind the curtain. they "almost" told us what were the per kilogram prices of the equipment they bought would be an interesting info PW gone sailing. GC would be a very suitable company | kaos3
17/5/2019 07:26 | Think a lot of the poor performance is already in the share price PW going is a positive and we are still producing good volume For me this could be a good recovery play. Get Egypt sorted and we should be back in the 50-60 range | zebbo
17/5/2019 07:17 | I was almost tempted to buy yesterday lunchtime... glad I didn't on this update. SDX will be a decent prospect when South Disouq starts flowing but before that little to jump in for unless there's extreme share price weakness at some point. | rollthedice
17/5/2019 07:14 | Expect a big fall today. And PW sacked. Not surprising. | darola
17/5/2019 07:11 | Had added to my watchlist a week or so ago. Shockingly poor update | tsmith2
17/5/2019 07:07 | Gosh, a dreadful update.. back down in the 20s today. | owenga
17/5/2019 07:05 | PW going, and waiting for delivery before spending more on SD. | the drewster
16/5/2019 16:32 | When is the delisting? | sunnybeachboy
16/5/2019 16:07 | or tomorrow's meeting presentation has leaked? | the drewster
16/5/2019 16:04 | Someone turned the gas on? | ll0ydy
16/5/2019 15:50 | maybe a rabbit out of the hat at the meeting tomorrow? | the drewster
11/5/2019 11:48 | Wouldn't be surprised if there is no more news on anything until after the delist is finalised, and possibly also not until Waha etc pick up their fill of cheap stock. | shakeypremis
09/5/2019 07:45 | only just over 100% rise needed to get back to where we were 12 months ago... | the drewster
03/5/2019 08:13 | Nope. Not if Waha etc want to pick up more cheap shares. | shakeypremis |
