It just a waiting game here for SD to come online.

When it does this will double from circa £40m market cap to £80m.

Sdx doesn't need to retain money. They have enough to fund drilling an exploration from cashflow. You could argue in Morocco that additional exploration isn't a priority given the low demand for gas but the more gas they find the more valuable their Moroccan business become because even if they *never* increase volumes sold it just means they could supply the current volumes for a longer time. This would increase the price a buyer would have to pay for the Moroccan arm. In South Disouq exploration is most certainly warranted as their is demand and infrastructure there to take multiples of the initial 50mmcf/d SDX will hopefully start producing at *some* point.

Highly cash generative asset base – generating c.US$3.5 million in cash flow per month

why not scale back the explorations and use some to support the rudderless ship I wonder...

It would appear that markets don't give much of an 'uplift' to SPs' anymore when a company has an oil discovery, even at SDX's much reduced current share price of 22p.....you'd have thought it would put on a penny or two?

This will add around 125 barrels per day of entitlement production (after working interest and government cuts). That's over $2m extra revenue per year at $50/barrel. Not a lot but useful. Another well to be drilled in the Rabul area too.

What ever negative things we can say about PW there can be no denying that on the operational front SDX are second to none.

SDX Energy plc (AIM: SDX), the North Africa focused oil and gas company, is pleased to announce that an oil discovery has been made at its Rabul-7 development well in the West Gharib Concession in Egypt (SDX 50% Working Interest & Joint Operator).

The well was drilled to a total depth of 5,323 feet and encountered approximately 134 feet of net heavy oil pay across the Yusr and Bakr formations, with an average porosity of 18%. The well was completed as a producer, connected to the central processing facilities at Meseda and brought on-line at an average stabilised rate over five days of approximately 415 bbl/d (gross).

The well was brought online in a timely and cost efficient manner and will provide further support to our FY 2019 production guidance for this asset of gross 4,000-4,200 bbl/d. Another development well is planned for the Concession in H2'19.

This is a steal *IF* SD comes online. The current price probably reflects (among other things such as heavy selling volume) the market's lack of faith in that. If SD never comes online at the moment this company is worth the build up of cash the current legacy Egyptian assets are producing and will produce before going offline and also the Moroccan business.

You have to believe they will eventually get SD online and producing and once they do the big exploration upside in the SD region might just get a little value reflected in the share price.

Likewise the fact is that you we were all told lies by Paul Welch not just exagerations but falsehoods like we were on schedule for 8000 barrels per day by the end of 2018. I topped up significantly when those statements were made mid to late last year by which time it was certainly known it would never happen PW paid with his job we have all lost money on paper With further delays on SD a possibility I am considering my position. Maybe new CEO can restore some faith

I said it was a no brainer 12 months ago and am now sitting on a 50 % plus loss. I thought this was as low a risk as you get on aim no debt cash in bank new discoveries increased income What worries me now is any further slip on SD and that further Morrocan success miming Morocco might no move the so until further Customers on line. I would not touch anything Paul Welch is in over in with a barge pole should have know better after chariot

Hi DerrickTrotter,

I'm not sure that asking for people's opinion and then slating their response is actually conducive to your goal. However, it does appear that you have already decided upon one of three brokers and are looking for others who have experience with them? I use Hargreaves Lansdown so can't be of any help to you in this instance.

All the best with the search!

Hi DerrickTrotter,

You have been almost exclusively posting the same post on numerious different BBs regarding this matter for a while now!

I can only summise that you are a marketing agent trying to get information regarding brokers that people use and their preferences. I also assume, since you keep plugging iweb-sharedealing(halifax) or X-O(jarvis), you are working for them in some capacity.

If so, just say so. I'm sure posters will be happy to help you. In my case, I'm with ii and perfectly happy to continue to use them. I will not be changing broker. Also, the preference for a broker is not just about the amount they charge, but also the level of service and security that they provide.

Hope that helps !
