15/2/2007 13:07 | Now off its sudden spike at 12 p.m., either a thick finger or a rumour. | ![]() 18bt
15/2/2007 12:49 | talk about inbev bud tie up | ![]() hijeff
15/2/2007 12:31 | dunno - same with SAB Miller - I guess some rumours of a take over in the industry for a spike like that... | ![]() peart
15/2/2007 12:20 | What just happened to the price? | ![]() 18bt
05/2/2007 22:46 | sure has given al the activity over SAB Miller I would have though the brewers were at least a bit interesting | ![]() chairman2
05/2/2007 17:36 | I'm still a holder. Just awaiting more news. Share price has died until someting else to go on. | ![]() 18bt
01/2/2007 15:29 | Judging from this board interest in this company died a long time ago | ![]() chairman2
01/12/2006 11:56 | Outlook looks good to me. | u813061
14/9/2006 18:44 | Does anyone have any feeling what is driving the price at the moment: take-over speculation or trading. They must be benefitting from the cider revival, but it's hard to see the growth coming in beer. Russia strong, France weak. | ![]() 18bt
13/9/2006 18:33 | HOLDing SCTN is a no-brainer for me and probably for many others who bought in at less than 400p I don't know whether I would be a buyer at current levels though. Still likely to be taken out by a global player in my view but feel that a fair amount of bid premium is already built into the price. | ![]() coogar
04/9/2006 15:09 | Breakout here we go | ![]() hopperagain
04/9/2006 14:21 | Coogar, Don't encourage him back please! Like you,I'd rather trust my own judgement and continue to hold. Keep drinking the cider! | evo8
04/9/2006 13:50 | Coogar continues to be pleased with his performance. Maybe Blobby jumped off a cliff? :) | ![]() coogar
30/8/2006 16:46 | This stock must be in just about break-out territory now. | ![]() hopperagain
30/8/2006 10:22 | IT'S TAKEN SOME TIME, but the share price is rising at last. The Q2 results have been largely discounted already, so the move up may be due to promised good div yield as xD approaches or as reported in iii that Fosters AUS is rumoured to be subject to takeover move from InBev and SABmiller??? Now that would involve the S&N group as the Fosters European market maker in an interesting competitive situation. | alanatml2
08/8/2006 13:04 | Yeah, look at this and STAN. Both reported excellent figures today. Result? As per usual, tanking big time. That's how the market rewards success. | ![]() penycae
08/8/2006 10:40 | Evo* Results today look as good as can be expected and co delivering on 2.5% increase in the divi. The basic business in the UK seems to be OK to me despite the pessimists here. Dont really believe the world cup mad a half of shandy difference to sales up or down. | ![]() chairman2
04/8/2006 10:46 | Don't know but it will rise next week :- Brewer Scottish & Newcastle is scheduled to report interim results on 8 August. Deutsche Bank said that it expected the results to confirm further steady progress under Tony Froggatt's leadership, with underlying EBIT growth of around 7% driven by the UK and Russia. The broker said it expected underlying EBIT growth of 7% in the first half, driven by 11% growth in the UK and near 20% growth from BBH. Deutsche maintains its 530p target and "hold" stance on the shares. The stock rose 1.25p to 533.75p. | evo8
02/8/2006 14:52 | why the drop on such good news out of BBH | ![]() peart |
