19/1/2020 13:14 | So who's the big seller and why? An insider freeing up some cash for a forthcoming fundraising event? Or more sinister inside knowledge about trouble ahead? 18/1/2020 12:44 | glenalmond This is the restoration report for Foss Mine, I believe conditional on opening new mine. It's a real mess just now. Just shows what a fantastic job ScotGold have done ! They really should be, and I'm sure they are, proud of their achievements at Cononish. | hyper al | |
18/1/2020 12:37 | glenalmond re Foss, they may have quarried it, before the mine. In the early days of the mine I believe they had terrible problems with lead/zinc contamination of the local burn from the mine water. I believe it was closed a few times. Looking at the planning application, 348 documents !!, looks like they have covered everything (certainly lots of water stuff). I think size of the access road may suggest mine expansion in the future. Not found the mine plan yet. | hyper al |
