12/7/2021 06:08 | TIDMSAGRNS Number : 8030EScience Group PLC12 July 202112 July 2021Trading and Board UpdateScience Group plc (the "Company") together with its subsidiaries ("Science Group" or the "Group") provides the following trading update. As reported at the time of the AGM on 19 May 2021, all three divisions of the Group had a good start to the year. This momentum has continued throughout the first half and the Board now anticipates that, for the 6 months to 30 June 2021, the Group will report revenue in excess of GBP40 million and adjusted operating profit ("AOP") in excess of GBP7 million. This is an excellent performance, ahead of the upgraded expectations at the time of the AGM and an AOP increase of over 40% relative to the prior year, despite significant currency exchange headwinds. The interim results are anticipated to be released in the last week of July.Board ChangeBy mutual agreement, Mr Sameet Vohra, Chief Financial Officer, will be resigning from the Board at the end of July and will leave the Group at the end of September. Mr Vohra joined the Company in January and his appointment became effective in late April.Science Group's success is derived from its integrated organisation, with a hands-on operating management culture at all levels of the Group. After a career in significantly larger companies, it has become apparent that the role within Science Group is not aligned with Mr Vohra's aspirations.Mr Jon Brett, currently Group Financial Controller, will be appointed Acting Group Finance Director upon satisfactory completion of the necessary AIM Rules and other compliance procedures at which point it is envisaged that Mr Brett will be appointed to the Board. Mr Brett trained with Deloitte LLP and qualified in 2004. He joined Science Group in March 2020.End | tizo100
09/7/2021 12:51 | Just bought in after the recent retrace might get a nice increase in run up to results and the peg ratio is indicating this is very cheap one to tuck away in the isa. Good luck all. | tizo100
08/7/2021 10:36 | Lots of buying this morning, tipped somewhere? | johndoe23
01/7/2021 11:45 | Something more relevant to Frontier/SAG than my previous post: It is good to see the digital radio sector promoting the advantages of DAB+. It was interesting to learn that only 35-40% of UK DAB users can access DAB+ and its many extra stations. I suspect that is because DAB adaptation took off in the UK before anywhere else nearly 20 years ago, when Pure launched the first <£100 digital radio, the iconic Evoke 1. That means there are a lot of legacy sets still out there from the pre-DAB+ era. This leaves a real opportunity for the industry to target those existing DAB customers over here to upgrade their sets to DAB+. The sooner the UK follows the lead of France and mandates that all future radios must include FM/DAB+ as standard, the better. Either way, this promotion can only help DAB+ sales, which is good for Frontier/SAG. | life of crime
24/6/2021 11:55 | More goods news for Frontier and therefore SAG: PS. I correct myself, Frontier are designed mainly into the home market and the aftermarket for automotive DAB, so the above link does not really apply here, unfortunately (see answer 1 at the link below): | life of crime
21/6/2021 19:18 | I agree Dav, I do not trust tipsters either. However, if it adds 20p to the share price I am not complaining! SAG will get to 500p through its own efforts. To all SAG holders, enjoy what is left of the summer solstice. | life of crime
18/6/2021 17:42 | Lol - what a lot of BS. Unnoticed/advanced group. I suppose there are enough mugs to follow this stuff to keep him going. Don't get me wrong I'm happy to be holding from lower down. I did read the NT stuff nearly a decade ago but realised he was a bit of a pump merchant - he tends to drop into his blogs weeks after the event that he has sold out and moved on. Sadly I now expect a bit of volatility here but I hope I'm wrong | davr0s
18/6/2021 13:56 | Here is the tip: Perhaps surprisingly at the advanced seminar the top vote went to Science Group (SAG) as a lovely isa tuckaway. It’s one of those shares that goes unnoticed/untouched except for my advanced group! The shares have strong momentum off the back of a bullish trading update and strong results. Revenue, profit and operating margins are all up. There is plenty of cash and management has skin in the game and bullish on prospects reporting operating profit likely to be 30pc higher in H1 2021. Downside? Not too many market makers in this one and so the spread can go to the wide side but usually it is fairly easy to deal well inside it. For example today the buy price looks like 410. It is actually 395!A nice idea for a safeish isa tuckaway for those with patience. Shares have a history of rising, then consolidating, (price not moving much) then rising again. Looks like it is in a consolidating stage before another step up, targeting 450p then 500p. | life of crime
18/6/2021 12:51 | Yeah not complaining by the rise but I'd prefer it wasnt going up because someones tipping it | davr0s
18/6/2021 11:13 | Hi John Doe. I am not sure I would take advice from a guy without a stitch on. Where does he keep his money? Not like he has any pockets. But I do like this share and have been buying progressively since 321p | mach100
18/6/2021 08:38 | Truffle, just check out his website, naked trader diary. It's the first share he mentions, all good narrative targeting 450-500p | johndoe23
18/6/2021 06:38 | Thanks, but do you have more details such as amount, any comments he’s made etc.etc.? It would be helpful to know | truffle
17/6/2021 21:56 | He's bought in | johndoe23
17/6/2021 19:06 | In what way? | truffle
17/6/2021 18:43 | Nice to see Robbie Burns, AKA Naked Trader, getting involved here 0-) | johndoe23
11/6/2021 16:16 | Thanks for pointing that out | mammyoko
10/6/2021 06:47 | No they didn’t. Read the RNS carefully. They have neither bought nor sold but the proportionate size of their holding has changed. | orange1
10/6/2021 06:28 | Ruffer picked up 10% | mammyoko
28/5/2021 17:14 | All the trades came in a very short period so it looks tip like or someone larger deciding to accumulate - maybe we find out in the coming days... nice end to the week! | davr0s
28/5/2021 16:51 | Very nice move today. I can't find any tips or rumours, perhaps it is just down to the shares being tightly held and any demand is pushing the price up. Either way, I am not complaining! Enjoy the bank holiday weekend. | life of crime
28/5/2021 14:47 | Looking really perky. I used to think Science was boring but the rise in the share price is a fascinating subject. My own TP is 450p after the recent update. | mach100
28/5/2021 14:46 | Interesting. Can't see any tips anywhere at the moment... | johndoe23
28/5/2021 14:26 | A tip by the looks of things. 17 trades in 11 minutes. | orange1
28/5/2021 14:08 | Nice Friday move! | johndoe23
19/5/2021 06:36 | Indeed. And very good to know that Frontier will remain a part of the Group. | truffle |
