Nearly always a tight market.
If one fancies these shares (as I do), one has to buy a few at a time.

net funds, ie cash at £8.2m, up from £4.9m at the interims and £2.3m at the end of 2019. very impressive cash generation from a £90m EV company.

Thank you varies appreciate your input.

I, too, am no stranger to Frontier technology, though I believe it was something else even before that and I am glad to see it come good.

I would not want you to feel lonely here and so add my plaudits to yours.
Having done very well indeed out of Aptitude Software which I still hold (formerly Microgen)I have a high opinion of Mr Martyn Radcliffe and am confident that he will do well for us shareholders here.
He sold some shares recently to provide some liquidity in the market but retains, I believe, about 25% of the capital.
I was a shareholder in Frontier and am very glad that I sold those shares and bought SAG shares instead and have gradually increased to my holding since.
"A good solid company" seems an apt description.

...' it is now anticipated that Frontier will slightly exceed the revenue plan set out at the start of the year and operating margins for the year are now anticipated to be broadly in line with the rest of the Group. In summary, Frontier has exceeded the Board's expectations in its first year post-acquisition. '

Acquisition going well.

Science Group plc

Trading Update

Science Group announces that, following its trading update on 10 September 2020, revenue across the Group has continued to be at the higher end of the Board's expectations. In particular, the performance of Frontier is noteworthy in terms of both revenue and, due to an enhanced product mix, an improved operating margin. While the Board is using the opportunity to increase investments in the operating businesses, it is now apparent that the Group's adjusted operating profit for the year ended 31 December 2020 will exceed the Group's expectations as set out at the start of the year'.

Great update....some good phrases to focus on there....'exceed the group's expectations'....'continued to be at the higher end of expectations and so on.
Outlook unsurprising careful with present situation but if they can afford to be generous to their staff it says a lot.

A reminder.

'During the past few months, most of the Group's business operations have been able to continue to operate. Only around 5% of staff were placed under the UK furlough scheme and, as of 1 September 2020, no staff remain on furlough. In the Group's main sites, a model of around 60/40 office/home working arrangements is continuing in order to facilitate social distancing and this is being reviewed regularly.

While the future economic environment remains unpredictable and the more recent currency volatility is being closely monitored, Science Group is well positioned with a strong balance sheet including gross cash (excluding client held funds) at 31 August 2020 of GBP22.0 million and net funds of GBP4.9 million.

In light of the resilient performance, benefitting from the rapid actions taken at the start of the pandemic outbreak, the Board anticipates adjusted operating profit for 2020 to be in line or possibly slightly ahead of the Group's original expectations for the year. T he Board has therefore now undertaken the deferred Group salary review and has also initiated a number of deferred investment programmes.

In line with the dividend policy update announced on 11 May 2020, to consider payment of an interim dividend later in the financial year, t he Board has also concluded that it is now appropriate to authorise an interim dividend of 2.0 pence per share which will be payable on 23 October 2020 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 25 September 2020.'
