WW,
job done ?
I've never said anything other than i make mistakes, its not an issue for me, "to er to be human ". Like i said, its not making mistakes thats a crime, its not acknowledging or learning from your mistakes, that is the crime.
And for the record, the rest of my portfolio is mainly made up of high yielding main index stocks, coupled with a few other AIM stocks 3 of which have performed very well indeed, one is at parity, and two are about 30% down, as we speak.

Putting all your eggs in one basket is investment suicide, contrary to what a village idiot advocates.

Bermuda - yes, many of us fall into the category of hoping for positive newsflow and being wrong. We don't fall into the category of repeatedly suggesting we are right whether the shares go up or down, as pl0nker tosh does. His (alleged) freebies tell us little about the risk he is taking on his SCLP position. For all we know the rest of his portfolio is now worthless, and the only thing he has left is his (alleged) freebies. It appears the pl0nker has difficulty accepting he has got it wrong despite where the shares have moved - amusing given he spends 24/7 here accusing someone else of the same weakness :)

WW,
if your message was designed to get an admission that i got it wrong, then yes 100% i got it wrong.
I have no problem in acknowledging that what so ever.
I get many things wrong, investing isn't an exact science, there are always the unexpected pitfalls that rear their ugly head and catch you out.
But, these are lessons that should be learnt from.
If you just keep doing the same thing and never learn from your mistakes, the market will crush you, and you will end up with a few hundred thousand shares at 45p, whose value is now 5p.
To state that there is a riskless investment in utter nonsense, and anyone saying that there is, has clearly learnt nothing... or is just too egotistical to admit that they got it wrong.

Don't we all fall into that category?

WW,
absolutely, but on the basis of what we were told by the BOD over 3 years ago, i think everyone thought there would be a deal !
The difference is, having identified that the BOD were misleading their shareholders and that there was not going to be a deal, rather than continuing to buy more shares at over inflated prices, some of us traded the share so that we could mitigate the risks by getting our original investment back, and then wait.....

Your problem with that is what exactly ?
You're nearly as bad as that other brainless cretin.

Tosh owns the shares. He thought there would be a deal. There hasn't been a deal. He got it wrong. Simple for everyone to understand :)

ineptico.... why would i sell all of them ? Thats just crazy talk.

Only sell enough to mitigate the risk, and then wait... its basic stuff, very basic ... but clearly way too advanced for you to understand.
Maybe a few home learning courses would serve you well. I'm actually surprised that they didn't cover basic mathematics during your stay at Her Majesties... or were you in solitary ?

Now now ineptico, now now...

Surely it is far more astute to take profit when one can, with the eventual target of gaining a free ticket to the lottery, rather than throw the kitchen sink at it and just hope.... and LOSE.
Surely it is far more astute to conduct your own DD rather than listen to village idiots who lie and cheat and have been proven to be 100% inept in everything that they have said.
Surely it is far more astute to watch and react to the market trends rather than just bury ones head in the sand and lose a fortune.

Realism is, that this is a RISKY investment, something that you have finally had to concede to admitting.

The 'trHYPE CLUB diet'... by Elsie -
"Hi Guys'...Some years ago, I was introduced to this 'regime' via the founder of this CLUB - inane'n'co { and HIS fellow CLUB members}.
I thought 'This is the answer to my dreams" and, along with many 'like minded souls' quickly joined with enthusism.
I CAN report, the pounds began to 'roll away'.
You won't believe, for us 'dedicated followers', how many pounds 'we' have shed.
Our 'founders'are always 'looking for new members' to support 'the NO RISK here' scheme... So why not *join today and watch those pounds disappear*.
You might like to 'team-up' with us on our LSE sclp BB and read comments from other converts, and how 'happy they are to have seen those pounds *vanish* '.... as well as daily 'bulletins' by 'der founder', that ensure 'we' keep =
"LOSING those pounds"

Talking of sticky institutional investment, looks like Merck KGaA, (German not US Merck) are holding some Scancell shares. See page 144 of their Annual Report. Am pretty sure that this goes back to a licensing agreement for ImmunoBody when Scancell licensed some tech. from them - assume they accepted Scancell stock in lieu of up front payment.

Yet more rubbish being posted by the resident village idiot over on the LSE BB... The guy is so full of utter carp....
Part of todays offering = " the optimists will always win ".... which of course should be " The realists will always win ".

Optimism = Hopefulness.

Realism = a sensible and practical idea of what can be achieved or expected.

The 'passage of time' ???
Odd, how it 'slips-by' un noticed sometimes.
My daughter has just been over for a 'short break'. On Tuesday aft, we were all enjoying a few beers, sat in the sunshine - cafe societywise... in our old stamping ground of ST Antonin-Noble-Val.... When who should appear and join us = Jupiter John.
I hadn't seen Jupiter for 10years
We talked of OLD times over a few beers... Where-upon, I pointed-out, that Mrs Lozan and I were in the same bar the day of 9 /11... Everyone was in awe watching events on the TV big screen.
It seems Sooo long ago now...TIME slips by
.
Time ALSO 'slips by' without being TRUELY noticed ----
Like,,, Waiting for inane'n'co - to get something RIGHT.

Looking at the trades and prices this morning I think we're still seeing some unwinding going on.
Still hoping we manage to hold 5p base..... but it's difficult to see what'll stop another downward bump without some positive news in one form or another.
Anyway, only time will tell, so maybe the Easter break will act to our advantage.
Looking for the breakout with volume (whichever way that is).

Knowlesi,

They did a very similar thing with the Calculus presentation. It will only be effective if it coincides with progress on both clinical and commercial development. Otherwise they are likely to get the same response they received when they did the US investment roadshow (come back when you have data) and the whole thing becomes an expensive distraction.

You could also argue that if we do see some progress then we'll see a sea change in sentiment and market cap will adjust accordingly. Would love to see Scancell get to the stage whereby it can attract some serious, good quality and sticky institutional investment and lessen its over dependence on Calculus and retail investors.
