lol - well it's a nice thought but if that were the case I think they would have kept the 5m Scancell shares and offloaded something else! For sure though they'll know far more about biotech and AIM investing than any of us and so it is some comfort that they have held despite the share price performance.

Yep agree with you there.
I guess the CF managers have persuaded Garraway of their abilities (irrespective of the performance in the last couple of years).
Here's a thought...
What if ....
There's something that the Analysts know that we don't????????
Again, that's a lighthearted comment that isn't supposed to be taken seriously.
Would be good though wouldn't it?
AIM(not very considered)O....

We'll obviously have to wait and see, but IMO it perhaps offers more hope if it is confirmed that David Crawford and Ade Roberts are moving across and will continue to manage the fund. The fact that they bought the Scancell stock in the first place and apart from the recent sale have continued to hold despite the falling share price suggests that they see potential here. Certainly a better scenario than a completely new fund manager re-evaluating all portfolio companies afresh.

Berm,
Interestingly the second report didn't seem to mention the Scancell holding reduction, seems we can't get publicity whatever we do...!!
PLEASE before anyone comes back on this it wasn't a serious comment...

Berm, thanks for that, interesting. Not sure about the move to Garraway, question of interpretation I guess. I read it as a reference to CF's managers rather than their transfer with the funds to the new Management company.
However I'm sure we'll find out IDC.

Inan,

"penny post gazza …
i did not see the point of it ... apart from one upmanship with lozan "

Oh I see! Just because I agreed with one of your statements after 6 years and then agreed with Lozan that you cannot have a reasonable debate with you. Well I'm afraid you can't have a reasonable debate with you despite the efforts of numerous people over a number of years.

I CAN believe there is a disconnect between IP and share price AND say you are incapable of normal adult conversation WITHOUT CONFLICT.

Inan,

" Gazza understood it ....... but today is conflicted"

Why am I conflicted, I stand by my Friday post on the topic of share price and IP 100%
I would suspect that the majority on here are in agreement.

Where's the "conflict"?

Old,
They have IP, trial data and bags of POTENTIAL. Just because Scancell haven’t been able to commercialise the assets doesn’t mean a company with enough cash to put behind it wouldn’t be able to.

I had to agree with Inan re the disconnect between share price and IP. The current share price is determined by the relatively minuscule trades of an unrepresentative proportion of the investor base. No company could buy up all the shares for 5.5p. There are plenty of us that would not contemplate selling at such a low figure.

As Inan says, £100m is punt money to some of these big companies, so we might see 22p.
