They have asked for a change in the law by seeking to extend the deadline beyond March 29th.
It is in the EUs hands.THey could say yes we will give you an extension of time by 2 years and try and force the Brexiteers to vote for TMs deal.
So ERG have 2 choices either Vote for a deal that they hate or stay in limbo for another 2 years.
So they are done up like a kipper and not in control of future events like everyone else.
The referendum result was all about giving the Conservatives an instruction to get out of the EU as best as possible.
They have failed miserably due to arrogance, incompetence,Putting Party interests ahead of the country by failing to engage with other party’s and by worrying far too much about their right wing.
If Parliament does not Vote it through it will not happen and the No deal. Recut has been kicked into the long grass.
There will be enormous political consequences whatever happens with both Tory and Labour Party’s being split apart.
To much of a gap in the centre to remain unoccupied for long.
But ERG is finished a busted flush

it's not law .. its advisory

unless you change the law ... we leave on no deal

it's also EU law

you can't just overturn a ref result without enormous political consequences

Unfortunately that bit the dust with a heavy defeat.
So still looking fir a way forward but means some folk will have to compromise but too many vested interests ATM

Yep not really bothered about whether Govt or HOC decides way forward but much more about finding something Parliament can agree on.
Fine to vote everything down but at the end of the day we may need to put aside party and personal interests in order to get some sort of agreement that can get a majority in Parliament.
If that fails then the only way forward I can see is that the country needs another opportunity to speak either via a General Election or 2nd referendum.
Know the idea of a 2nd ref got defeated but if No motion is passed(can see some humour in present situation) then something has to change imo

Key was Ben amendment losing .. by 2 means the HOC still has no control of the agenda

and NO second Ref

so that's labour policy defeated on both counts

customs union plus single market rejected the other day and a massive defeat for the sec ref

not much left they can actually vote for

Evening.See I have not missed much here today.
Looking forward to another exciting evening at Westminster as Parliament attempts to rescue us from the Brian Rix farce this show has become.
Whatever your views this really is history we are witnessing with plenty of twists and turns to come.

"subtle difference" -
"subtle difference" IS, I don't CARE if anyone 'talks to me'... The 'object' of being FIRST to mention via an Alternative View, is for folks to THINK for themselves, and form their own opinions.
=
The complete opposite to YOUR *FAILED* dictates.
The FALSE CLAIM that the other 'FDA issue' would be 'sorted' by 12th March, being just ANOTHER example of YOU being PROVEN .... WRONG
Perhaps YOU would 'like' to explain how/why.. You 'got-it- WRONG' {AGAIN}
However -
Perhaps many folks would 'like' it ...If YOU didn't

Tosh, just noticed your doubling up on roulette post. It only works if 1) you have unlimited funds and 2) there is no house limit. Even given the conditions above, it would take a long time to make any money. If you start with a one dollar stake and double up, you only make one dollar when you win whether your stake has been one dollar or a million dollars. I wish people would stop saying "the law of averages" it does not exist, it is a fallacy. The record for the same colour coming up consecutively on roulette is 31. I have seen one come up 15 times myself at a casino. What has this got to do with Scancell I hear you ask? Blowed if I know!

Goosed, could you please explain the Holloway " wakey wakey " comment. The patent appears to be in the name of University of Nottingham not Scancell.
