Chill out old chap.... Everyone's entitled to their own view and that's the great delight of this BB. PLEASE don't ruin it.... At least we can see what's been posted rather than having everything that a few decide shouldn't be ther being removed!! In fact even some on LSE were complaining about not being able to see what was posted there this morning.
So I ask again, please don't ruin it here!

I HOPE (and that's where I really am on this) that the current "jitters" are temporary and that that it's all a bit of a storm in a teacup, but the volume increases on a falling share price are a bit of a worry. Blind faith might work (longer term) but then again 5 years is heading towards longer term and it's not been the best idea in that period.
As to our CSO's time at SCLP an interesting thought... could be construed as good or bad... so I can't guess on that...
In any case the IP has so far been grown to such an extent that there should be enough to provide a good boost for shareholders.... BUT subject to BOD will to succeed or that the "science" really is as good as "experts" think.... If it isn't...well doesn't bear thinking about.
ATM I'm plumping for the BOD to sort themselves out and so as I say, right at the top, I HOPE .... and FTB continue to do so....
Sorry not to be more precise on this but I'm not completely convinced....

Old.
Serious question. He would have seen all this coming. Perhaps there is more going on behind the scenes than investors know about.

How much work is Lindy doing for Scancell these days. How many hours a week.? That answer could tell a story.

Did the previous chair and CEO go because he could see no bright future for Scancell.?

That's the worry, but I'm concerned that the previous chair and CEO were from a different mould, things seem to be changing rapidly at Scancell from a BOD point of view!
Sadly the last JC acquisition of SCLP shares at 10p's now underwater, but guess that's balanced out by the paypacket by now..... So maybe the SP's not so much of a worry....
Anyway, onwards and upwards (well maybe) ... Guess we have to wait and see ...again.

I wonder IF things might be 'different'... IF certain BoD members ONLY held BoD positions in Scancell ???
Certain BoD members might then have REASON to 'Pay more attention, Put more effort IN, respect THEIR responsibility towards Scancell shareholders'... in a way that Lindy Durant and her 'team'...Put the effort IN...???
.
Seems THEIR having 'fingers-in-other-pies' allows THEM the scope *NOT TO* ???
Some might opine, THEY appear to be = *WELL PAID... DEAD WEIGHT*
As, to MANY, THEY seem NOT to 'be doing THEIR best on behalf of existing SCLP shareholders 'interests' .
Some might EVEN opine/ ASK, as 7p s appear in the window, Is it 'possible' some of those other 'interests/ companies' might take over ???
.
Maybe it's just me and my 'Alternative Views', seeing things differently from most, and RULE NOTHING OUT where money is CONcerned... BUT... Then again ???

Given the time delays. Another cashcall will come next year i suspect. I think we now know why KCB left the company. These delays would have been gotten wind of by then and I bet a fair bit of discontent has set in.

You may find calculus slowly selling the position as well. This looks more and more like a typical aim company. Full of promise tomorrow. Goes nowhere but the Directors rake it in. Plenty of cashcalls to fill up their pension funds.

Interesting thought re AGM.
an investor revolt or acquiescence?
Which is worse?
Well, I'm beginning to think the latter might be more damaging, since it seems to me that there needs to be an attempt to restore the trust that's not simply evaporating but seemingly being blown away by a gathering storm.
Personally, it's simply amazing that somehow a BOD can happily vote itself not insubstantial remuneration increases whilst watching LTH see their interest in the company being diluted (un)happily away (and likely to require more cash from somewhere) against a backdrop of the "Promised Jam" from both successive Chairmen and CEOs reveals a somewhat unbalanced view of Risk/Reward across the various components of this company.
This imbalance has arisen against a backdrop of a falling share price and consistently delayed timelines over almost a six year timeframe.
It may well be that the BOD have something up their sleeve for the AGM, but if a market sensitive rabbit is suddenly pulled from the hat between now and the AGM I'll be in the front of the queue querying the coincidental nature of any such revelation (SP sensitive manipulation springs to mind should such an (un)happy scenario arise).
So, if we're not to get hard financially relevant data, does this mean another "Scancell "(SP Multiples) Pep Talk" followed by another cash call? I've no idea, but the outlook's not being particularly well managed by our (now) increasingly handsomely rewarded BOD from Oxford, is it?
The Market's not looking too encouraging, the Management's not looking too encouraging and the Investor outlook (Near term.. whatever that is Mr CEO)is tarnishing more than somewhat. Not an ideal set of prospects, so now I think share price manipulation's the most attractive outcome..... but what a way to have to look at a UK listed investment in a "Hot" area of cutting Bio Technology..
The BOD of Scancell needs to get its various responsibilities sorted out and come clean to the Investors....
I believe that's the least we deserve.
Rant over, but not forgotten!

Can't believe what the new "expert's" saying on LSE. Apparently the BOD don't have a plan for trials?
Talk about conceit...
Are we now to believe that CRUK and other "collaborators" simply take the BOD words for it that everything's OK?
talk about naive.... :-)
Oh well, at least the "experts" are now beginning to think laterally .... If not inaccurately.
BTW does this remind anyone of the time when another "Expert" emailed the BOD to suggest a collaboration with Angle because their blood testing facility PARSORTIXTM might be useful to us... Similar sort of conceit in my book....
Just realised, keep finding coincidences in some posts and posters !!! :-)

AGM ??? -
With all SCLP bb's 'voices' displaying 'frustration' towards BoD {trHYPER] FAILURES
What does the 'outcome' for the pending AGM represent ???
.
Will those 'frustrated voices' be heard / represented, in the form of a 'minor revolt' towards S P / salaries / delays ???
OR
Will the 'luvvies' hold sway, and the AGM 'go along with' whatever they are told ???
.
Not sure... Which is WORSE
.
Has anyone thought along the lines of =
With the last 'call' for PIs to 'stump-up more cash' via the OO, being NOT taken-up by 40%...
What happens, if the next placing, the IIs follow suite ???
The PRICE will have to be VERY ATTRACTIVE for IIs.... 'Not to follow suite'

For those who 'reason' this will not now be 'taken-out' by a BIG PHARMA / BIG MONEY'...I disagree.
IF... BIG PHARMA / BIG MONEY... DO see 'value here' NOW IS the perfect time for them to act.
With 8p now in the window { Maybe worse to come???}.... Make an offer 'They CANnot refuse'
BoD and existing shareholders = Get what they are offered
Replace the inept BoD with people who KNOW what they are doing, having the 'money' for Lindy Durant's team, to move this forward, and let BIG PHARMA / BIG MONEY shareholders 'pick-up' the rewards

BIG PHARMA/ BIG MONEY...NOT trHYPERS,,, hold ALL the 'CARDS'

Tosh & ONW, unlike the resident idiot you are both spot on . I agree 100% the BOD have failed miserably to deliver anything of note in 6 years which certainly questions the Science. It's incomprehensible in a Sector that has seen literally 10's of billions change hands over the last 6 years that Scancell's technology has not led to one single deal. According to one or two idiots on the other Channel they actually believe that Scancell's technology is too big for any one Pharma, there are some very seriously deluded Investor's in this share.

Goosed, yes the only thing that runs on time with Scancell are the fundraisings. They give a detailed timeframe and it is completed to the minute, funny that.
