not saying that my interpretation is indeed correct as we do not know, however it is conceivable

Inanaco,

The expiry of the Ichor agreement can't be used as a reason for the delay in the IND. The expiry date of the option has been known since the agreement was signed back in 2016 so there has been plenty of time to plan ahead and negotiate the new agreement. I would have expected them to do that before designing the trial around the Ichor device and before the pre IND meeting with the FDA.

I don't believe they could have actually signed the agreement before Ichor's Master File had been cleared by the FDA but it could have been agreed, drafted and just waiting for the green light and there's nothing to suggest it wasn't.

The new batch of SCIB1 has been manufactured successfully and will be released for clinical use in 3Q17. Following the pre-IND meeting held with the FDA in February 2017, we remain on track to submit the IND for a Phase 2 SCIB1/CI combination study in 3Q17.

The Company has been making good progress in compiling the Investigational New Drug (IND) application to the FDA for the SCIB1 checkpoint inhibitor combination study in the US. The request by the FDA for Ichor to provide data on its second generation TriGrid electroporation device has resulted in a short delay to our IND submission. However, we expect that this will be submitted in early 2018.

do you feel that Scancell should have started the trial with that extended agreement expiring mid way through the trial .... ??????

You don't even need to do the maths anyway if the divisor is bigger and the dividend the same, the quotient will obviously be smaller (sp lower).

maybe that was forced on to them by Ichor ... ie they would not support the mark 1 gun

Inanaco, I think you'll find that Chiplin stated in April 2016 that the cash raised would be to enable the Combi trial to commence in 2017 but it hasn't happened has it and we have had 2 further fundraisings and still the trial has not started. Do you think if the trial had started in 2017 and we had some results we would have had to raise funds at 10 & 12p or do you think cash would have been raised significantly higher meaning far less dilution. If the Company was sold for £2bn would the share price be higher with 300m shares in issue or 800m shares in issue. Do the maths.

2/ shareholder gives up higher dividends from profitable company in exchange for a % of profit further invested in R&D that could generate further profits


in both cases R&D can be classed as "cash Burn"

Cash burn has everything to do with Share Oruce whuch means Profit fir ASTuties and Loss for trHYPE hounds.
High cash burn means more CASH and FUNDING at lower Share Price as SCLP dies NIT produce any money.
So Numpty Head to carry out 14 phase 3 tusks (PLUN Msths casting about £500m just to develop the science does that remind everyone baBABA has NI Commercial sense whatsoever or just a BIG EGO to enable him to Cut and Oaste more

If you don't make profit, you burn cash (or assets)
It DOES have everything to do with profit.

If it was "in profit" it wouldn't be burning cash!
