I know one team in the lead ........ its scancell in the Grand Challenge

this is a post Gazza forgot to mention yesterday

we are 8 months into a collaboration study with BioNtech and indeed BioNtech have remained in the Grand Challenge so as yet no negatives have unfolded ... this is the first time since Scancell sold of some MABS that we have a commercial deal at the end of a collaboration identified ie ... a third party license.

the Grand Challenge will deliver hopefully, leading to a £20m investment in the Modi3 program non dilutive for share holders, But what it also shows is, Genentech, ISA pharma and BioNtech are happy with the science as presented, ie the technology behind Moditope how can that not be a Huge Positive ?

CRUK is committing funds to the immunobody program and taking it through the first 2 stages of trial. With Scancell able to take back control at the end of the trials or take a partnership/license role through to commercialisation via a phase 3 trial.. subject to defined data, put that into perspective its a commitment by CRUK probably up to £75m or higher

SCIB1
has engaged the top oncologist centers in the US .... these guys can pick and chose

Dr Keith Flaherty, Director of the Termeer Center for Targeted Therapy at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center and Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, commented: “Despite the plethora of combination regimens under evaluation in melanoma, we believe that the SCIB1 / Checkpoint Inhibitor combination represents a novel, rational and safe approach that offers considerable clinical potential in a disease that still has significant medical need.”

problem with Tosh he cannot separate the process of synergy between the immune system and PD1 being a consensus across the industry

with "If" we can overcome tolerance

so SCIB1 and PD1 has history in the industry of synergy

why is that ?

we all use the adaptive immune system in one way or another .. its "common" across most immunotherapy treatments that is why they gave it the name immunotherapy

it acts on the immune system

the issue here is Tosh/gazza/dobson/lozan rant about what exactly ?

WHY is it -
That a certain 'GROUP', when faced with 'Alternative Views' posted by calmer, WISER, more experienced, more ASTUTE... that give a more BALANCED / REALISTIC forum input, by NOT only pointing out 'the positives', but pointing to POSSIBLE downsides.
WHY is it -
That a certain 'GROUP'...INSIST in supporting / promoting "NO RISK here", "GO ALL IN", this will be £1 / £6 /£8+ a share { Without doubt}, "The trials CANnot fail", "Markets and EVERYONE else are FOOLS"... and GO out of their way to surpress ANY BALANCED views
.
Whilst they endure and encourage further LOSSES, as they INSIST on pursueing the policy of 'Everyone MUST ignore the BALANCED/ more REASONED/ REALISTIC views that HAVE been PROVEN to be of VALUE.
.
The WISE 'take-into-account' ALL Views/Opinions
.
So WHY do the LOSS making trHYPERS ... STILL , spend so much time INSISTING that their FAILED COSTLY 'game' is the ONLY 'opinion' to even CONsider ???

Strange, or maybe NOT, that certain "GROUP players, use that SAME wording.
When SCAMACO came on here, some time ago, HE 'boasted' ="Ha ha, I have WON"
BUT.. FAILED to respond when I asked HIM = "What is it that YOU think YOU have WON"???
So - *WE ALL* may ask = What exactly is the "something" that "HE seems to be WINNING at" ???
Is it that by 'in-common use' of words CLAIMING "WON..WINNING" the use of those words, is meant to mislead away from REALITY ???

The funding will likely come from shareholders - but no one knows the issue price yet. Given we are likely to get news on TCR, Grand Challenge and initial scib results prior to this funding - it is necessary for each poster to work out in their own minds the likely impact of these events. The TCR may or may not result in a helpful upfront payment - again, no one knows for sure and each person can make their own mind up about it. Hope that helps. It's really not worth getting your knickers in a twist about :)

Another month passes and still no IND submitted for a trial we were first told would commence in 2016 and complete in 2018. This has to be the most incompetent BOD in the Pharma world. All of these delays cost us all money as further funds will be needed but at least it won't affect the BOD as they will just adjust their Options accordingly as they have done a couple of times, hate to think they would lose out due to dilution.

HE does seem to 'hide' when HIS 'bullyboy' tactics don't work... and when HIS trHYPE gets exposed for what it is, with a 'kick-in-the cods' by a touch of REALITY in the form of a DIP in S P.

As you well know, you were talking about the Modi trials and used the word " IF ", when you have ALWAYS argued that the trials WILL BE successful, so... if , as you have continually argued, the trials are a foregone conclusion, why would you use the word " IF " because that would not only suggest, it would confirm that there are risks .... its a really simple question ineptico.

It would appear that you have been caught out by your own words , YET AGAIN.

GaZZA you are right I do apologise for the hortle bit as it is a very serious business.Many of my army mates have suffered in many for s so please excuse the black humour on this subject.
It is the way sone ex military deal with it but he’s in poor taste.
Just wish he eoukd seek help in some way as a I am sure that he can be helped and I do fear the consequences of him ignoring the signs which are clear for the rest of us to see.

as Affimed has confirmed that synergy exists between PD1 and its products and they are now testing this combination ..

which is what is needed to Break tolerance

hence $90m for "if" ...

As for explaining something to Genentech, what has that got to do with anything that has been posted ?
I merely asked YOU, and i now repeat my question, why you used the word " IF " when you have vehemently pronounced that the trials WILL be a success, therefore, your use of the word " IF " to describe a scenario that is a foregone conclusion is contradictory to all your other statements.... nothing to do with Genentech, so please at least try to stay focused, and answer , what is after all , a very simple question.

Definitely a question that any scientist or professor worth his salts could answer, in fact any primary school kid could also give it a stab as well.
