The Elliott wave patterns are as true today as they were decades ago.
They apply to every 'traded' asset.
The rules are clear and defined.
If you read anything different ignore it ...it isn't EW.

It's no good pulling out selective clap-trap inane.....you spout enough of that.
The 'clued up' understand it ....and reap the benefits.
It would be a complete waste of time for you.

Did you follow 2tyke .... Lozan ..

he obviously had money, now he has lost it, despite his "lose change theory" of millions

is that why your skint ? Lozan did you trade with "lose change theory"

Some analysts consider the Elliott wave principle as too dated to be applicable in today's markets, as explained by financial market analyst Glenn Neely, author of Mastering Elliott Wave:[10]

Elliott wave was an incredible discovery for its time. But, as technologies, governments, economies, and social systems have changed, the behavior of people has also. These changes have affected the wave patterns R. N. Elliott discovered. Consequently, strict application of orthodox Elliott wave concepts to current day markets skews forecasting accuracy. Markets have evolved, but Elliott has not.

perhaps Ruck being a scientist can solve the puzzle and return Earth to the centre of the universe

The Elliott wave principle, as popularly practiced, is not a legitimate theory, but a story, and a compelling one that is eloquently told by Robert Prechter. The account is especially persuasive because EWP has the seemingly remarkable ability to fit any segment of market history down to its most minute fluctuations. I contend this is made possible by the method's loosely defined rules and the ability to postulate a large number of nested waves of varying magnitude. This gives the Elliott analyst the same freedom and flexibility that allowed pre-Copernican astronomers to explain all observed planet movements even though their underlying theory of an Earth-centered universe was wrong.

Wasn't always though inane...
Many years ago I used to read the financial press and actually believe it ...I used to think stock prices depended on 'news'....I used to follow newspaper and magazine tips.
But I saw the light because luckily I have 1) intellectual honesty and 2) A very useful and logical scientific background.
Never looked back....

"and who exactly is agreeing with YOU ?"It makes no difference who agrees with me. I draw my own conclusions based on facts, science, mathematics, probability and logic. Some of the greatest scientific minds came up with theories nobody agreed with. For example, my statistical analysis of tumour analysis is mathematically sound. If no one agrees it makes no difference to me, I am going by 40 years experience as a data analyst, more recently data scientist. Let me ask the same question " who exactly is agreeing with you"
