11/1/2025 10:46 | "You don't profit from a down-trending stock."Not entirely correct I'd suggest. The key factor is whether the stock falls further after you've bought. Even a stock on a down trend could reach a bottom and rise. It may even go into an upward trend. Surely the trick is spotting stocks in a downtrend that are about to turn. But if we all could do that, we'd all be millionaires! In the case of stocks in downtrend over many years, then you are right, not profit to be made as is amply evidenced by the situation here. | ruckrover
11/1/2025 09:14 | You don't profit from a down-trending stock. Look at the venture capital trust calculus....they made money for their early investors here very wisely....by selling at the right time. Not buying at the wrong time... | 2tyke
11/1/2025 09:01 | Who doesn't do that ? Idiots in way too deep... | 2tyke
11/1/2025 00:23 | No what is stupid is writing off your shareholding, rather than just selling ie sticking to something you did not believe in .... who does that ?? nigelpm - 08 Jan 2025 - 21:40:36 - 15742 of 15928 Scancell - Pot of Gold or POS? - SCLP Yes - that's my point. I am genuinely concerned about my investment here and have now mentally written it off. | inanaco
10/1/2025 19:31 | Unwavering faith is just about the most dangerous position one can take when investing. Get off that step ASAP. | nigelpm
10/1/2025 19:19 | What a nut-job.... *The game is played for a future event ?....you would think by now even that fool would have realized it ISN'T about events ! * The dollar is a safe haven ?....it's closer and closer to collapse. Brexit ?....The one biggest factor in n the economy going into reverse. Laughable individual 😂 | 2tyke
10/1/2025 18:05 | Happy New year Knowlesi ... | inanaco
10/1/2025 17:59 | Happy new year! Have to give it to Inanaco - his faith never waivers. Good to see some Moditope news - modi 1 has been in trial almost 3 years and this is the first real data we have seen. And remember Moditope was the reason in 2012/2013 we had a change in strategy (it's been an 11 year journey). How about the other modi1 targets - are those trials still ongoing/will we ever see that data? Moditope was the prized asset - it was supposed to be a new industry, able to work as a monotherapy and yet it seems (at best) it will be the kicker in a combo. Hard to know how this will play out. Hopefully the Moditope gamble pays off. | knowlesi
10/1/2025 17:17 | dont over think it Ivy | inanaco
10/1/2025 17:10 | Nana AIM acts differently to other markets and is not primarily affected by macro movements but by sentiment and news.IMM went up 200% yesterday despite the market crisis due mainly to TM comments rather than the Science whereas SCLP released better news but fell. Simply the buying volume was not enough to absorb whoever was selling which again is not reflective of macro events. | ivyspivey
10/1/2025 17:00 | Moron Certified has to go to Darren Jones | inanaco
10/1/2025 16:58 | Most costs in sterling - and most potential revenue in dollars. At least that is the right way round.. .all we need now is potential revenue to become actual. | markingtime
10/1/2025 16:45 | take Genmab deal at $1.45 = £419 m at $1.22 = £498m while labour trash the economy our Genmab deal will make us MORE £ not less | inanaco
10/1/2025 16:34 | we are sitting on a $ based Stock ............. all the deals so far are in $ not £ Pharma do deals in $ its there biggest income stream Scancell will sell to Global markets That is why i holding ......... its a safe haven to retain a $ value if the science is correct ......... we are laughing | inanaco
10/1/2025 16:31 | the reason why i keep going on about the economy it directly impacts shares FFS. Barclays says ‘high chance’ Reeves will be forced to announce emergency measures Barclays has said that there is a “high chance” that Rachel Reeves will be forced to announce emergency measures if bond yields stay high. In a report issued this afternoon to clients, it said: “If, as looks likely at the moment, [the Office for Budget Responsibility forecast on Mar 26] shows the Chancellor has no headroom, then a spending review a few weeks or maybe even months later that contains no changes on tax and spend plans but rather just allocates money, and then an Autumn Budget even further out, could give the impression of a government that is not committed to fiscal responsibility. “We think that without a change in the market pricing, there is a high chance that the Chancellor is forced to make fiscal adjustments sooner than that to deal with the gap.” | inanaco
10/1/2025 16:27 | Because most of them are not relevant ... just like the share price you can spread risk easy ... but that means to have the same impact you need to get them all right I have only got to do it once ! and because i already have a very successful investment arm which generates a large income, i can just run with it so hopefully this could be the last year to get approx another 200,000 shares into ISA in 10 weeks like i did last year ... The game is played for a future event !! not on the Fluke roulette wheel if you have a conflicting view point on the science say so .... but if i challenge it ... and you cannot defeat the argument which is what has happened over and over ... the only fool is the person not accepting another's viewpoint Because that also applies to YOU Ivy so so far Brexit won Scib1 won on synergy left conservatives won advised and predicted Labour will be a disaster I was correct do i trust myself .......... absolutely | inanaco
10/1/2025 15:59 | Nope fair dos you moved choice of Party due to change in how you felt. Again no worries in having a lot of confidence here and you have put your money where your mouth is. Issue to me and suspect others is your unwillingness to accept or even consider any of viewpoint on any aspect of SCLP unless it is in complete concurrent with your thoughts. | ivyspivey
10/1/2025 15:15 | Bought a few more sub 10p today , plenty of upside from the current lows over the coming weeks/months. | z1co
10/1/2025 15:07 | Well i did dump the conservatives Ivy ..... you make it sound as if i an stuck in a rut ! on here i am betting on what i Know ! which is synergy and indeed can you name one party currently posting that can actually argue against that ? and if they could why can't they answer which one has failed SCIB1 or KEYTRUDA in fact you can now add Modi1 with the trial investigator now stepping in ! and arguing for even earlier use intriguing what does he know ? | inanaco
10/1/2025 15:01 | Nana I do believe that having different views on different topics is a strength so you can be pro Remain but against mass immigration from non EU countries. So is changing your mind especially if the picture changes like news or sentiment shifts | ivyspivey
10/1/2025 14:53 | so you have gone from staunch remain ... Oh Jeremy Corbyn supporter ... to Reform Mama Mia !! | inanaco
10/1/2025 14:23 | I did vote Reform last time. Why would I need to buy a Tractor I have a choice of 5 I can borrow from my daughters farm | ivyspivey
10/1/2025 14:22 | inane - Just because YOU have been posting YOUR trHYPE for 12 YEARS or so,,,,does not mean YOU have to CONtinue to 'act/sound like a 12 YEAR old'. | the real lozan
10/1/2025 13:58 | they have a "Fluke Meter" highly accurate for measuring resistance they are normally yellow you can't mistake them "tykes Fluke meter has a roulette wheel inside" ... clever stuff | inanaco |
