and if Russia wins ?

Ukraine's grain production and exports have been declining due to the Russian invasion:
Production
In 2023, Ukraine harvested almost 60 million metric tons of grain and leguminous crops. However, production is expected to decrease in the coming years:
2023/24: Projected to be 58.8 million tons
2024/25: Expected to be 27 million metric tons of corn and 21 million metric tons of wheat

the Government is shifting Food production to Energy production ... because we need Home grown energy to escape world market volatility

lets import more food and make that our achilles heel

with a growing Navy to protect our imports ... all will be well

except who is the biggest producer of grain ???

China, India

then the EU

then Russia

3 of the top producers are in an alliance

do you remember what i said about Scancell being Dollar based .... all its deals are in dollar

FTSE 100 poised for best week in six months
The FTSE 100 was on track for its strongest week in six months as its stocks were boosted by the falling pound.

The UK’s blue-chip stock index was up as 2.3pc higher so far this week, which would be its best performance since May.

It comes as the pound slumped 0.8pc since Monday and was down about 4pc since the election of Donald Trump on November 5.

The dollar has surged since the US election amid expectations that the president-elect̵7;s policies will be inflationary, forcing the Federal Reserve to keep interest rates higher.

The FTSE 100 benefits from a strong dollar as most of its companies report their results in the US currency.

The pound was last down 0.6pc to $1.252 against the dollar, its weakest since May.

With that, let me thank you for following today’s live updates from the markets so far, and I will leave you in the good hands of Alex Singleton.

i will tell you what the problem you have ... its really simple

the market as ever will pull back, but it has digested that result .. then all of a sudden a rush will start as it climbs back up ... because investors are already starting to be convinced this can only go up

could be next week or the week after i don't know

the headwind against that is the Labour party and Calculus ...

calculus will run out of shares

and labour will run out of other peoples money

or a Russian missile comes in at Mach 11 while our Navy picks up illegals 🤐

who knows

what i can tell you more news coming !!

I won't bother telling you the price I bought my first Bitcoin inane...it would just make you cry.
Whilst you have been holding a risky little biotech company which has gone nowhere...whilst palming pennies in your car park kiosk.
You're just a dreamer.
Little place in the market for them.
They tend to get slaughtered.
One of the very worst reasons to hold a stock is the dream of a company buyout.
For dreamers and wannabes only...lol

I'll explain precisely in a nut shell why you have got this investment risk argument so wrong inane....
You are equating the likelihood of stock price gain with company product success.
This simply doesn't equate or even follow.l
Many many biotech and smaller biotech companies have launched products and seen their stock price constantly eroded.
Many are potentially life enhancing and yet they are not even utilised...especially ones involving slight enhancements or improvements to existing therapies. I worked in the pharmaceutical industry for many years and have seen it happen many times.
Don't for one second think that a therapy which passes successfully through the clinic is automatically going to go give you any return as an investor...whatever area it's in.
Investor return depends completely upon sentiment. And as you've seen for a lot time in this stock...it's bearish.

Scancell Holdings Plc

18 November 2024

Scancell Holdings plc

("Scancell" or the "Company")

Scancell announces further positive data from the ongoing SCOPE trial of SCIB1 with double CPIs for Advanced Melanoma

80% Progression Free Survival in 25 patients at 6 months

20% (5) patients have shown a complete response following treatment

Disease Control Rate of 84% and an Objective Response Rate of 72%

Scancell Holdings plc (AIM: SCLP), the developer of novel immunotherapies for the treatment of cancer, announces today that 25 patients in cohort 1, receiving SCIB1 in combination with ipilimumab and nivolumab, have reached the 25-week landmark point of the SCOPE trial. These patients are showing progression free survival (PFS) of 80% at 6 months, with 5 (20%) complete responders (CR). 21 of 25 patients (84%) have shown disease control (stable disease or tumour regression, DCR). 18 out of 25 patients have shown a clinical response which is an objective response rate (ORR) of 72%, with many patients continuing to show tumour shrinkage over time. These responses have been verified in all patients with further scans at 19 and 25 weeks.

These results compare favourably with reported outcomes from the double checkpoints alone, namely PFS of 65%, CR of 16%, DCR of 58% and ORR of 48%, respectively. The PFS and accumulating number of complete responders indicates that the combination of SCIB1 with double checkpoints gives sustained and durable responses which are improved when compared to double checkpoints alone. To date, cohort 1 of the SCOPE trial has recruited 42/43 patients, and it is anticipated that all of these patients will reach week 25 during H1 2025.

You have to recall why My "No Risk" posts had such implications to current strategy from Scancell why because they are all based around Scib1 .... the very product all my posts are based on ... the data showing it worked since 2015

and the push back from Bermuda and Burble are based on Industry Numbers

RE: From Inan . . .14 Sep 2022 09:22
TF

Inan and I had our fair share of disagreements. But one in particular I will always push back on is this idea of ‘no risk’. It’s utter codswallop and should be called out.

Look at success rates in drug development (see funnel diagram hxxps://www.pharmamanufacturing.com/articles/2022/10-tips-for-improved-drug-development/)

Preclinical - 10-20 candidate therapies
Phase 1 - this drops to approximately 6
Phase 2 - this drops again to approx 4
Phase 3 - this drops again to around 2
Market

So just because we have seen SCIB1 working in the clinic - absolutely does not mean it is no risk and will be successful through to market.

Investing in pharma is not without risk. Any one of our therapies may fail. But equally any one of our therapies may succeed. Indeed, the more shots on goal we have the more chance we have of being one of the successful ones.

But to say no risk, is dangerous and shouldn’t be taken as gospel.

As usual inanaco it is yourself who is totally wrong on virtually everything you spout.
The market doesn't 'think'.
It simply 'moves' dependent on trades.
SCLP has fallen over the past few days since the RNS.....sharply !!
It really is irrelevant who has bought stock and sold stock.
If only you had invested in an issue that was trending higher like Bitcoin rather than a really high risk biotech stock !

"you are so wrong Lozan" -

Clearly, even the most 'blinkered' of the 'trHYPE swallowers', CAN easily see that the 'subject' of my post WAS the 'warning of repeatedly getting SPIKED

A 'trend' that YOU have embraced for many YEARS
BUT
In an effort to HIDE this FACT, YOU sidestep the issue with nonesense and the usual ranting about others.

you are so wrong Lozan

Private investors are increasing there holdings and new investors are stepping in ..

what you have missed is the huge number of shares absorbed from Calculus on the back of that RNS data

we may see more selling up by that fund we now have no idea of how many they have

but it will stop .... Scancell has given no reason yet to sell .....

but we do have 2 experts Burble and Bermuda ... who have been ignored

they both have stated they will not buy currently

the market actually thinks different ....

time will tell
