25/11/2024 04:17 | Inan"so now your a trader. Gazza"I'm afraid in your simplistic head there are two distinct groups - investors and traders. This misbelief belies your naivety. Successful investors will from time to trade. The main reasons for this are:1. Portfolio Rebalancing: Investors might trade to maintain their desired asset allocation. For example, if stocks have performed well and now make up a larger portion of the portfolio than intended, an investor might sell some stocks and buy bonds to rebalance.2. Taking Advantage of Market Opportunities: Sometimes, investors might spot short-term opportunities that align with their long-term goals. For instance, they might buy a stock that has temporarily dropped in price but has strong fundamentals.3. Tax-Loss Harvesting: Investors might sell losing investments to offset gains in other areas, reducing their overall tax liability.4. Dividend Capture: Some investors trade to capture dividends by buying a stock just before the ex-dividend date and selling it shortly after. For example, the sale of shares by a larger holder sent the shares down to 3.5p. This was a buying opportunity. Positive news generally results in a short term spike - a selling opportunity. The original Moditope news resulted in a massive spike driven by a feeding frenzy - another selling opportunity. Those who take advantage of such opportunities are not traders necessarily just smart investors. | gazza
24/11/2024 23:38 | so now your a trader. Gazza so amazing An investment strategy !! sort of words Peter Cook and Dudley Moore would use do you need a certificate like a Fork Lift Driver ? have you completed the exit strategy first ? or are you waiting for 20p to cover the credit card, an anomaly caused by excess | inanaco
24/11/2024 22:19 | "Price moves SELDOM have anything to do with Scancell"Very true. I remember at an AGM someone asking a question about the share price. John Chiplin (the chairman at the time) was quite abrupt in his answer: "we have absolutely no control over the share price".Nothing Scancell does affects this. All they can do is create a company and situation where the company is worth, according to TD, 33p. What the shares change hands at is all down to what someone is willing to sell at and someone is willing to buy for. If you understand this, you can formulate an investment strategy that takes advantage of any anomalies. Clue: it's not buy and hold! | gazza
24/11/2024 08:44 | 'may have nothing to do with Scancell' lol .................... You need to travel a bit quicker in the savvy stakes however. Price moves SELDOM have anything to do with Scancell .................... Well Bitcoin is accepted pretty much everywhere from Amazon to Burger king....so won't be too long before your credit card issue demands mandatory crypto I wouldn't have thought. Some investments are actually worthwhile...lol | 2tyke
24/11/2024 08:39 | If these patients developed new lesions because they had not had 3 does of scib1 (as LD said in the latest interview) and the 3rd dose is given at week 13 (asco poster and ld interviews), then how come 13 weeks data is banked? Note that it takes 7-10 days for a dose to start having an effect and about a month to peak. This is why you shouldn't lie, because you dig a bigger hole for yourself each time that you do. The truth is it should have an effect from about 2 weeks after the first dose. Multiple repeat vaccination is more about the memory effect (longer term immunity beyond the vaccination schedule) than increased efficacy. Some patients simply developed new lesions because it is not going to work for all of them or for whatever reason that cannot be fully explained and that's fine. Stop trying to find stupid excuses ffs. The implication of scib1 needing 3 doses minimum to act, the first scan taking place on the day of the third dose (so basically after 2 doses) and the protocol that says that patients who progress will not receive further doses means that the trial is not designed properly. This is not what is happening. JUST STOP TALKING. | sci102
24/11/2024 08:19 | was up at 4.30 .. great Race lewis back on form ... 20p is up to Calculus, Scancell can't counter that at the moment, as they are happy to sell above 15p. This is the problem when the seller is acting for OPM ie withdraws and that dictates, which may have nothing to do with Scancell | inanaco
24/11/2024 07:27 | Inan, Yes back now up early watching the F1. No moans from me, what are you talking about. If I was all in with cloud cuckoo land expectations I might be moaning but I know exactly what this is, have realistic expectations and playing out exactly as expected. I also have 100% dilution up my sleeve but know it may well be a lot more. Either way, it's entirely my choice to invest what I have from a position of knowledge and realism so you won't find any moans from me. It would be nice to hit 20p before December 10th when the credi card needs paying off. I wonder if they will accept a filing of a bitcoin lol. | gazza
