03/11/2006 10:48 | Its a free world. If somebody i.e. private equity - buys the holding as a launch pad for a higher price bid who am I to say no. There is nothing "good" or "bad" in this game | phillis

01/11/2006 10:50 | What has this post to do with anything CBRE are going to sell 20% of Savills to the highest bidder(s) So if anybody wishes to take a major stake as a prelude to further corporate activity, all they have to do is pay the highest price | phillis
01/11/2006 09:36 | "in play"? why, Phillis? Trammell Crow's stake is being sold and it had quite a high option price on its options so i'm not sure its bullish; the share price says otherwise, 'tho. if someone does buy the shares for the options, which i think were at 720p, then they would see a lot more value so, in that sense, it would be very bullish for the share price Correction: the options were exercised, so that's it..... From RNS of 25 APril 2005 "In addition to this, TCC have today lodged a notice of exercise regarding the option granted by Savills to TCC under a Deed of Option dated 9 May 2000 (the "Deed"). TCC will, therefore, be subscribing for an aggregate of 5,243,229 Ordinary Shares at an exercise price of 701.28 pence per share (representing 120% of the average closing mid-market price of the Ordinary Shares as taken over the preceding five days prior to exercise). The aggregate purchase consideration is £36.77m. This will mean that their total holding after the exercise will be 12,939,199 Ordinary Shares (representing 19.60% of the revised issued share capital). Under the Deed TCC were permitted to acquire in total up to 20% in the Company. No option to TCC now remains outstanding. Application for the listing of the new shares will be made within the next five days." | sogoesit
