06/1/2020 12:26 | HAF, The tag empire builder is usually used to condemn someone who destroys value. Only an idiot would genuinely believe that is the case with AK and SAVP. The timescale that AK is working to isn’t convenient for Jonny, and TBH not quite optimal for me, but that’s our problem. That’s the top and bottom of it. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
05/1/2020 19:53 | Good points, however AK will be highly praised IF he now gets the share price to follow his undoubted success in the deal. I did come late to the party though and can fully understand LTHolders ire. | rampair

31/12/2019 14:05 | Disappointing share price considering the progress made. Expecting that to change in Jan.. GL and Happy New Year all. | westmoreland lad
31/12/2019 08:46 | Both my charts had 27-30/12/2020 as possible turning points. Let's hope so. | bamboo2

30/12/2019 21:47 | we never ad tr1 saying any of bond holders ever held more than three purcent | sunbed44
30/12/2019 16:44 | Depends who's selling, the 60m share background purchase has done nothing for the share price and the selling down continues. Might just be the last few of the note holders getting rid of equity, but there was a max of 117m shares, you would think that from November circa 100m have now been distributed - perhaps another month of this? News and high volume could clear it a lot quicker. No TR1 for the 60m yet. | stockport loser
30/12/2019 16:01 | Well, on a positive bent, I added to my position today. SAVP is IMHO the O & G equivalent of the ' Fat Duck ' restaurant when Heston Blumenthal first opened. 2020 will be a superlative year for the Company. I am much relaxed now. ' Happy New Year 2020 '. to AK and all his team. | bushman1
30/12/2019 15:55 | I'm starting to wonder if im missing something here. Most concerning this drip, drip, drop. | ifthecapfits
22/12/2019 09:02 | Hopefully followed with an RNS either tomorrow or Tuesday announcing the major Nigerian gas customer ~ one of ~ AK referred to. | bushman1
22/12/2019 06:59 | On Aim, London’s junior market, Savannah Petroleum was keeping the City’s brokers busy. A whopping 67.2 million shares in the junior oil company were traded. To put that into context, it would typically take more than a month for that much of the stock to be bought and sold. Savannah finalised a deal to buy a Nigerian oil firm, Seven Energy, out of administration last month. As part of that agreement it issued shares to one of Seven’s creditors, which it is now believed to have offloaded. “In our view this overhang goes some way in explaining the share price performance since the Seven Energy deal completed,” said Tim Hurst-Brown, an energy analyst at Mirabaud Securities, who added that the seller was now “seemingly clear”. Savannah shares jumped by 1p, or 4.9 per cent, to close at 21¼p. | porschefund
21/12/2019 22:43 | Not an article, small comment saying a large trade equal to a months volume - main thrust of it is quoted from mirabaud note | otemple3
21/12/2019 22:29 | Might anyone have The Times article ? | bushman1
20/12/2019 11:01 | Mirabaud comment on this morning's trading. This morning a number of large trades have been printed in Savannah Petroleum (SAVP LN). A total of 58m shares have traded, equivalent to almost 6% of the company, with the vendor, we understand, being a former Seven Energy SSN noteholder. In our view, this overhang goes some way in explaining the share price performance since the Seven Energy deal completed in mid-November. The stock immediately rallied above 27p/shr on the news, but subsequently fell to the low 20s as it became clear that there was a big seller in the market. We believe that with the vendor now seemingly clear, this decline should start to reverse. | thomasthetank1
20/12/2019 10:30 | I’ll believe it when I’m finally blue again. Bloody humbug! | nen2319
20/12/2019 10:30 | That's good news PC, looks like there's still a bit of action going on, hopefully it settles down soon. | stockport loser
20/12/2019 10:15 | Now I believe it.. Cheers ghhghh. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
20/12/2019 10:11 | Large seller has been cleared. A consortium was formed last night to take them out. | ghhghh
20/12/2019 09:34 | Seven energy transaction shares been mopped up, overhang cleared, excellent news | here and there
20/12/2019 09:32 | Looks like a material cross gone through in Savannah shares this morning – 58m shares, that’s 6% of the company. Presumably this explains the weakness of the last few days and gets out whoever has been trying to sell. I guess we will see who the buyers were through any TR-1s or the company website in due course but imagine this is one of the receivers of consideration shares post-deal completion selling out. Momentum should be a lot more positive from now on | gmr64
20/12/2019 09:32 | Yeah - looks like a cross has been engineered at a level suitable to buyers and we will doubtless find out some of the buying IIs over the coming days if they crossed key levels | shareideas1
20/12/2019 09:24 | Looks like MT was spot on with his post last night, let's see if the brakes are actually off by close of play. | stockport loser |
