Added a further 100k today - over 90% upside to the average weighted price of the II placings.

Surely it shouldn't be too difficult to secure gas deals at around half the diesel price, which itself will be around double the current gas price received.

Divmad - thew book is set up with a weighting of BOT positions on the bid and offer, almost completely opposite to that we saw during the circa 10 down days from circa 27p.

Gas supply deals at materially higher rates than Accugas currently enjoy should not be difficult at all to secure considering the highly elevated price most of Nigeria's businesses and retail consumers pay for their energy - which is multiples of the average gas sales price in Accugas' existing GSA's.

Andrew it's because currently accugas sell for $2-$5/mscf So there's a lot riding on doing these new deals and getting the much higher price.

I don't understand how this helps anyone decide if the share price is going up or down.

L2: 2 v 1 / 21.8p v 22.0p - bots have 7 positions totalling 140K higher than the first MM on the bid and 1 position of 50k at a lower price on the Offer than first MM.

MM's are 21.0 p v 22.5p

10p for 10%, suggests 90p valuation for the existing, seems a bit high, but surely more than 19.5p? Nothing for Niger, it all seems a bit odd.

MT I think that the price went up to 27p as people bought in for the deal completion and perhaps short term catalysts. Subsequent news has been that the catalysts are more likely to be medium-term and I think that accounts for the lack of buyer interest and some short-termers leaving. I really don't think the price can be held down in the face of sustained buying interest.

In mid-Sept Numis said, "10p/sh upside if 20bcf of additional sales (a modest 10% increase on existing contract levels) were eventually secured at an average of $8.0/mscf".

That should merit a re-rate on its own, but I guess it'll be several months coming and if it's broken down by a number of smaller deals any news on this front short term, not be worth taking a position for.

I note that the broker notes had been vague on resumption of Niger ops, but having confirmation that it's H2 2020 was a bit of a disappointment also.
