20/10/2017 13:51 | LH - who's your broker? if you need to cash now maybe you can arrange a transfer of shares to someone and they buy the shares from you? | parisv
20/10/2017 12:33 | Excellent choice of words. Definition of venal 1 :capable of being bought or obtained for money or other valuable consideration :purchasable; especially :open to corrupt influence and especially bribery :mercenary a venal legislator 2 :originating in, characterised by, or associated with corrupt bribery a venal arrangement with the police | thelung
20/10/2017 12:27 | Gray - indeed - these hedge fund boiler teams have obviously become aware that a relisting is not far away and have now been deployed en-masse to sing for their supper. Would't surprise me if the shorts have been sniffing around the City for information and been given the NOD by one of Seven Energy's bond holders. It's wise to never underestimate the depths to which these venal charlatans will stoop to get an edge. AIMHO/DYOR | mount teide
20/10/2017 12:01 | I'm guessing whoever holds the short position is expecting that a relisting is imminent now due to the number of boiler room posters arriving here & LSE. They must indeed be terrified MT. | gray1107
20/10/2017 08:57 | LH Think 8-9 months So half way there | honestmarty

20/10/2017 07:58 | No need to thank me Sippy I am a very generous kind of guy. As well as being very honest Don't forget Alaska | honestmarty
20/10/2017 07:31 | Thanks Marty - I'm sure we'll be thrilled to see you over on TXP to save us from ourselves. | skippy176
19/10/2017 23:18 | Standard of debate reaching an all time low. A few truths. An RTO will be announced or the talks will be terminated. RTO's usually take months, 8-9 months would not be uncommon "Accelerated" is a pretty useless term, a bit like " luxury or exclusive" It can mean whatever you like or nothing at all. The management team at SAVP are in no way capable of running 7E, not the manpower, money, experience or political clout. It wasn't that long ago that poor AK was being encouraged to drill a few holes and sell up. He is NOT considering running 7E, he is an investment banker FFS. Don't forget the"Disasta in Alaska" This is a Chinese move to strengthen their hydrocarbon footprint in west Africa. I will be voting against the RTO regardless, I want nothing to do with Nigeria. I am not Jim88. Mount Teide will not believe me. Thanks P.s I forget to mention a few other useless words, " Mount Teide, Zengas" Silly me for forgetting those two. Off now to save the gullible on the TXP board. | honestmarty
19/10/2017 15:55 | LH - what disaster? - correctly, AK is not concerned with nickel and dime short term traders looking for a quick buck - he is concerned with the interests of II's and PI's who see SAV P as a long term value building investment - i'm sure any RTO deal when it is announced will reflect this in its structure. | mount teide
19/10/2017 12:16 | litho - you talk about investors, but you've said you were only here to try and ride any uplift in share price on the Niger drilling. You talk about Nigeria risk but were happy to get into Niger. Someone posted about 4 kidnaps in Nigeria which has a major established industry, yet not a word of the 4 US special forces and others that lost their lives last week in Niger. The company (and rightly so imo) are about building a business and are not concerned with people riding on or seeking short term price uplifts who may be here 1-3 or 6 months then gone when they've got what they wanted regardless of how the company ultimately fares after that. Moan all you like but their focus is on building value not on the short term self centred aspirations of yourself unfortunately. | zengas
19/10/2017 11:32 | Mounts Teide I suspect I’m wasting my bytes but I really am not poor Jim88! | honestmarty
19/10/2017 11:31 | Collectively the shorters hold over 12m shares and, understandably are terrified at the prospect of the RTO proceeding at a high premium to the share-price on suspension, since they could lose £millions and have no one to blame but themselves! The 6.3% short was set up Feb/Mar I suspect by a group of hedge funds based on the expectation of a falling oil price dragging the Sav Pet share-price down as it did just about every other company in the sector. It was well conceived - as when taken out the oil price was $55, and subsequently fell all the way down to $43 by June, and then bang the RTO news hit - it was about as welcome as a 'fart in a spacesuit' to the shorters! The rest as they say is history ! Moral of the story - Never underestimate the ethics of hedge funds that are short and facing a potential hammering! | mount teide
19/10/2017 10:37 | If you spent a little more time carrying out some basic research - like reading the Interims fro instance, like the rest of us you would have seen the following update! 20th Sept 2017 - Interims - CEO Comments: "In the first half of 2017, Savannah very much focused on the preparation for our upcoming drilling campaign in Niger, as well as laying the groundwork for the previously announced potential acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Seven Energy. We are looking forward to providing our shareholders and the market with a detailed update on both projects as soon as possible." | mount teide
19/10/2017 10:24 | I know that others have been told this is not expected to be an issue.... however, the same people also said,on 08 Jun, that further updates would be provided in due course and is seeking to complete the proposed transaction on an accelerated timescale".Does not inspire much confidence and is quite worrying.Time is running out and we have not yet even had an update in nearly 5 out of the 6 months. | lithological heterogeneities
19/10/2017 10:18 | From other BB:Today 10:10Price: 34.63jim8876 postsSuspensionI know many people here do not like facts being posted, but here we are: "The Exchange will cancel the admission of AIM securities where these have been suspended from trading for six months." 19/10/2017 09:44 | Dishonest Jim - i'd give up son you've been busted as a multi account, disingenuous charlatan with Zero credibility and the ethics of a New York mob boss. | mount teide
19/10/2017 09:17 | Is that why all the UK listed operators in Nigeria are down ? Not ! | zengas
19/10/2017 09:07 | Sounds like it’s not so much AK we need to worry about as AK47s Buffy | buffythebuffoon |
