01/1/2024 08:10 | Happy New year everyone! Hopefully save.l can achieve some of its potential this year | 1madmarky
18/12/2023 18:17 | Just saw a research report on Seplat a stock that has done well and still looks cheap. I was wondering if there is any read across from SEPLAT to SAVE. Anyone any thoughts? | robsy2
15/12/2023 17:21 | I’ve been saying that since it was first announced, but nobody saw that as a problem. Can we get it all out of the country? Buffy | buffythebuffoon
15/12/2023 17:05 | Revenues in Naira, debt in US Dollars. Not a great idea. | divmad
15/12/2023 13:36 | I wish someone had told me "you'll need the patience of a moron" when I bought in in Q122. Dead money in a PF is a loser. Hope your calculations are right, Rocky.... | napoleon 14th
14/12/2023 21:38 | Gj2 - nobody knows for sure the EED, but I assume you are working on our best guess date of 1/1/22. And yeah, the longer this goes on (if we end up closing the deal) the lower debt we take on.Also, even if this does not close, for every month that goes by, the Accugas revenues will be allowing us to pay more and more of our last reported debt of $400m down. Every $16.4m paid off is worth 1p on the share price Therefore, the longer this goes on (and should it eventually fail) the more chance we have of resuming above the 26.35p suspension price due to the existing debt being substantially reduced. Then there could well be some intrinsic value built in to the re-list price from all thats going on with the 4 x ICC cases and the 33mboepd 2C in Niger which is ready to go for well testing, and moving it to 2P when we start to produce via the $4bn recently completed CNPC pipeline. | rockyride
14/12/2023 21:04 | Regarding the deals' effective date, if it takes much longer to complete Petronas will owe us. | gisjob2
14/12/2023 17:59 | Wardrv- a combination of paranoia and investment experience means any interpretation is possible 😱 | 1madmarky
14/12/2023 15:54 | The RNS of the 13th Dec 2022 states "NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION TO TRADING ON AIM Following a Reverse Takeover the following securities have been cancelled from trading on AIM with effect from the time and date of this notice." Surely the only meaning to the word cancellation in todays RNS is what they said last year which is that they are extending the cancellation of trading on AIM until Feb 1st. I don't see it can be interpreted as cancelling the reverse takeover or delisting the shares. | wardrv
14/12/2023 14:59 | 1 cancellation of the suspension 2 cancellation of the acquisition 3 cancellation of the companies shares After reading inputs from other posters, I'm moving in the direction of 1, having previously thought 2 was more likely. | 1madmarky
14/12/2023 14:09 | Anyone care to speculate/comment on what is meant by this? ".....In this regard, a further extension to the Company's cancellation date has been granted to 1 February 2024." What's being implied here? | ifthecapfits
14/12/2023 13:49 | Zen, all I'm saying is don't get too hung up over the wording of an an RNS.Lets face it, as non insiders we don't know where we are in the process!Could be we get:AD 4 Jan, min approval by 31 Jan, relist 1 FeborAD 31Jan and min approval assurances, relist 1Feb, EGM and approv 1 month or so later | jnbrw
14/12/2023 13:06 | JNBRW In that case WHY SAY - "Full details on the conditions to completion of the Transaction will be set out in the AIM Admission Document". They're saying that the adm doc was to be issued before completion so on that basis they've led us to believe document first, completion later. We had the adm docs prior to Accugas and both Chad deals regardless of completion. It's SAVE themselves that have used the definitive description on the way forward as of 12/12/22. Now we are, including yourself i take it from your post, left speculating on close to completing the deal without the adm doc issued as stated beforehand? It can't be both. | zengas
14/12/2023 12:45 | This takes me back to the months and years waiting for the accugas transaction to happen. That also went on for a despairingly long time even after we had the admission doc. The shares slumped during a stock market correction during the summer of that 12/15 month wait. There was capitulation. The share price hit 5/6p or somewhere round that level. Posters said that accugas and the whole Nigerian adventure would never happen ( and worse)...... | jnbrw
14/12/2023 12:03 | Too much misplaced speculation about the nuances of the language used. I read it as a further simple suspension extension ( trying to use slightly different language so as not to repeat oneself). Key point is co is either close to completion, ensuring watertight conditions ( approvals) etc OR still fighting for the deal and won't give up. Focus on RNS language used is irrelevant speculation imo. | jnbrw
14/12/2023 11:54 | They're obviously working to get it done by that date but i would think they could relist again fairly quickly or maybe main market . I wouldn't think they would want to stay listed and forsake the deal. If the transaction date is 1/1/22 it must by now have a hefty downward adjustment figure. You wouldn't want to throw that away for the sake of being cancelled pending a new relisting ?. | zengas
14/12/2023 11:48 | Isn't it the 1/2/2024 though? Which gives them a few more weeks, I'd have thought that keeping the listing would be more important than continuing to pursue the deal further. Period for suspension is usually 6 months is it not, so the LSE have been pretty patient? | fireplace22
14/12/2023 10:31 | If SS are playing hardball ( or not playing at all?) then maybe we should just move on and leave them to it | jnbrw
14/12/2023 10:30 | What's happened to the debt re-financing ? | gisjob2
14/12/2023 10:30 | Patience always required doing complex transactions in Africa... I read the shorter extension as signs the deal is seen as very close and so let's see what the new year brings! | shareideas1
14/12/2023 10:28 | What happened to the other deal that was muted to replace and/ or compliment SS. Unless it's all coming at once in a Feb bonanza? We can at least hope! | jnbrw |
