09/4/2014 09:36 | It was strange how he flagged up the overhang by selling a tiny few first and had to RNS it ? Sloppy selling and it really should see the price back at 30p now he is gone. He was only a non exec and certainly not actively involved in the day to day business. | davidosh
09/4/2014 09:19 | Looks like overhang has gone for now. Any further good news re Rail contract will make it pretty hard to get on board without moving price sharply higher. | horndean eagle

28/3/2014 16:46 | Oh and also, I have been speaking to various recruitment consultants, some of whom in rail + energy etc, they say they are "BOOMING". | 11023154
26/3/2014 20:22 | im interested to see what they are going to do with this; Our objective is to return to payment of dividends as soon as our continued balance sheet enhancement and profits growth permit and to clear the way to that we are seeking authority from shareholders at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) to transfer share premium account to distributable reserves if that is considered to be appropriate. | glennborthwick

24/3/2014 17:00 | They should up the price to 36p and get a placing away at 32p to give the mms some shares. | glennborthwick
24/3/2014 16:58 | Two edged sword but bodes well. I had the same at loq. Mms short will lead to price rises over time. | glennborthwick
24/3/2014 16:54 | Seems fair enough, but 125k isn't many to satisfy market demand. With directors holding over 40%, it could help liquidity if they sold some more. ic2... | interceptor2

See our Ts&Cs and Copyright Policy for more detail. Email ftsales.support@ft.c Shares in RTC, the Aim-quoted recruitment business capitalised at just under £4m, rose 17 per cent earlier this week after it unveiled a 55 per cent rise in pre-tax profits to £736,000, writes Kate Burgess. This was well above the expectations of Allenby, the group's nominated adviser, which had already lifted forecasts to £700,000 after RTC put out an upbeat trading statement in January. RTC's full-year results to December mark a turnround for the company which has restructured the business to focus on three main areas since the downturn during which its shares fell below 5p. RTC provides technical staff to small engineering and manufacturing businesses, workers to the rail and infrastructure industry, as well as support staff in "hostile and remote locations" for companies working with, for example, Nato in Afghanistan. It also owns and runs the Derby Conference Centre. Allenby forecasts pre-tax profits of £850,000 by the end of the year and £1m the year after and says the moment when the company resumes paying a dividend "is not too far away" | glennborthwick
