02/7/2014 09:45 | Appreciate the info Glen, sounds very positive imo. Worth remembering that the AGM statement in May they said that board was confident of meeting market expectations to full year. That is a very important indicator of current trading so early into the new financial year. Wonder if we will see a trading update before the interims in August? | ![]() interceptor2

02/7/2014 08:29 | Posted: 11/06/2014 ATA Announces Significant Workforce Expansion Technical Recruitment Specialist Increases Team by 23% Engineering, construction and technical recruitment specialist, ATA, has increased its team by a staggering 23 per cent following a period of unprecedented growth. To support its clients throughout the UK in finding the best candidates for their business, ATA has appointed 13 consultants across all seven of its regional offices. Adam Smith and Mike Parker have joined the team in Manchester, working as Talent Sourcing Specialist for the facilities management sector and Business Manager for the construction sector respectively. Also based in the north of England, James Demain and Heena Mahmood have both been appointed as Trainee Recruitment Specialists in the Leeds office and will focus on mechanical design and skilled manufacturing jobs respectively. Edward Devanney has also joined the Leeds office as a Recruitment Manager for the manufacturing sector. Heading down to the Midlands, the Leicester team have welcomed Taher Rahmen as Recruitment Specialist for the quality engineering sector and Samantha Miller as Talent Sourcing Specialist for contract engineering clients. In Derby, Paul Willerton has been appointed as Recruitment Specialist, focusing on rail, and Emma Rees joins as a Talent Sourcing Specialist, looking after civil engineering clients. Meanwhile, Jonathan Clarke takes the role of Talent Sourcing Specialist, concentrating on the energy sector. Finally, Steve Hazell has been appointed as Trainee Recruitment Specialist, supporting the building services team in Bristol, while Adam Wheeler has joined as Recruitment Specialist in the London office, supporting the construction arm. Commenting on the company's significant expansion programme, Scott Bulloch, Managing Director, ATA, said: "We've worked hard over the last few years to make sure we've been able to grow, despite challenging market conditions. Our turnover has increased 10% in the last year, from £20.6 million to £22.5 million, and this success is down to the quality of our people who we work hard to train and develop. Not only does growing our team by nearly a quarter reflect our own achievements, but it also highlights how the industries we specialise in are flourishing. "As we carry on searching for the very best talent in the engineering, technical and construction sectors for our clients, so too do we continue to look for the best expertise to support and grow our own workforce." ATA is actively searching for recruitment specialists to join its regional offices in Bristol, Derby, Leeds, Leicester and Manchester. | ![]() glennborthwick

03/6/2014 08:03 | LOL ic2, yes they are hardly likely to all resign from the FIFA gravy train and confess their sins (should they have committed any). The papers seem to be suggesting that they will ensure the terms of any inquiry ignore all the new evidence. All IMHO, DYOR. | ![]() shanklin
03/6/2014 07:51 | It's hard to put a value on it Shanklin, all we know is that the contract they won will serve other areas in the Gulf region, including the Expo Dubai in 2020. And that the ATA Global division account for 30% of group revenue. I would think that domestic contract work will be the driving force for RTC in the medium term, with railway and other infrastructure maintenance being particularly important. Looks like FIFA will just try and whitewash the the corruption allegations imo. | ![]() interceptor2
02/6/2014 08:29 | Anybody any idea how important the Qatar WC award is to RTC please? | ![]() shanklin
