Thanks for your comments on dealing. Perhaps H-L is getting too big?

I agree, not for widows and orphans, but I expect the prefs to come out unscathed.
Yet again management without an eye on the ball!

dealt through idealing, had to send an order through but was executed instantly.

Agreed that there are concerns QP. Not one for widows and orphans but my guess is that this will damage but not sink RSA and I expect them to continue to pay given the nature of this particular beast. Not for everyone I'll readily concede.

Whilst the yield is good, the prefs will in my view fall significantly further as some investors are likely to want to sell off holdings in any way related to the current worrying RSA story/situation.

Thanks for the reminder Pimsin, they had gone off my radar somewhat as they seemed fair value only to me. Today's news has possibly moved them in to the "good value IF the worst is now behind us for RSA" category :-)

Taken a punt on a few at 97.75 and now have the fingers crossed....

Any others out there I've missed/forgotten about?

I am still updating and improving it and am finally getting better automatic price updates for the more exotic securities such as the Argon bonds, Euro prefs etc.

I am also working on adding links from particular stocks to worthy relevant discussion board posts / threads so if you know of any such posts / thread please suggest them via the contact form on the site.
