Very disappointing, everything in my portfolio picking up with the general market this afternoon apart from RPC. Could be an overhang caused by a background seller I suppose.

Weaker pound should be helping. Anyway, a tiny top up @ 545.5p late on :-)

Macro-economic issues (IS, Ukraine, Scottish independence vote etc) coming into play here. This morning's fall not specific to RPC. Could be some buying opportunities coming up.

RPC Group : Offers a growth potential

15th august

The company RPC Group has an important growth potential.

The growth of the group represents a catalyst for further rises in prices. Indeed, expectations for coming years shows an increase in revenues and earnings. In addition, analysts revised upwards their forecasts on EPS and Sales over the last 4 months.

From a technical viewpoint, RPC Group's shares remain close to an important support area (GBp 555). The latter brings an additional argument for a bullish rebound in prices, especially since the equity still having sound fundamentals. The fall registered on recent sessions represents a key entry point with a target at GBp 593.5 and by extension GBp 609 .

In sum, the GBp 555 offers an interesting purchase level on RPC Group. The bullish target could be set over the short-term resistance at GBp 593.5 and by extension GBp 609. In order to protect the position, a stop-loss could be triggered if prices fall under the midterm support.

Going nowhere, Italy already back in recession, grim news from Germany yesterday and France today..

"Growth has broken down, in Europe and in France." That's the conclusion today of Michel Sapin, the French finance minister, as the spectre of the debt crisis looms over the eurozone once again. Data today shows that the French economy stagnated in the past three months while the German economy shrank by 0.2pc. M. Sapin has told Le Monde: "With zero growth in the second quarter, thereby extending the stagnation we saw in the first, our country is slowing down and will not achieve the 1pc growth observers were predicting three months ago." The second straight quarter of stagnation has already prompted demands for urgent European policy changes from France.
