05/10/2018 09:09 | Exceptional management here. Pay offs for everyone and they walk away with the cheque, a bit like who wants to be a multi millionaire. | hvs

04/10/2018 22:31 | What your trying to say is "its all about the FREE CASH FLOW!!" RMG have plenty of free cash flow. | macthepak
04/10/2018 17:15 | Careful said: 'this is a strong £10bn turnover company, with parcels growing in line with current shopping trends.' Just before Pricerite supermarkets(the British chain) went bust the MD (or it may have been the chairman) said - "Look at our turnover. Must be worth something to someone." It wasn't. International bought some of the stores from the liquidator but the company disappeared completely. I am NOT saying that RMG will go bust. What I will say is that turnover is vanity, profits are sanity, but it's cash that pays the bills. In the end it is always cash that determines the outcome, not turnover. | mrtenpercent
04/10/2018 15:27 | Short selling bans do not work | muffinhead
04/10/2018 13:00 | Company can have a 1 trillion turnover but in the end it's down to margin and profits... | losses
04/10/2018 12:53 | 250p is a stupid price, they must think we are idiots. this is a strong £10bn turnover company, with parcels growing in line with current shopping trends. Overseas operations and the china connection with Alibaba is another area of growth. To suggest a market cap of £2.50bn is crazy, they be must be short. The Corbyn effect has everyone spooked and RMG must get serious about controlling costs. but all businesses have that problem, that is what the management get paid for. | careful
04/10/2018 12:48 | 2018-10-04, 12:47 HL quote 355.10p / 355.40p Critical situation. Chart looks bad. The price must stay above 350 this afternoon, otherwise I think my suggested price of 300 will be seen much sooner than I expected - and Liberum's 250 becomes a real possibility. | mrtenpercent
04/10/2018 10:10 | hvs, a fractured floating workforce cannot unionise, they simply aren't in one place long enough to do so, and would be 'let go' the moment an employer noticed any such attempt. The existing unions are not interested in helping, I know because I have tried to engage with them at various places that I have placed staff. Your remark suggests lack of experience in insecure employment situations. | lefrene
04/10/2018 08:38 | So pay through your nose and stop complainig. Join a UNION. | hvs
04/10/2018 08:36 | Most definitely ! | ignoble
04/10/2018 08:23 | Morning - a little weakness so start the day - I prefer post office to most other providers any day - | tomboyb
03/10/2018 20:32 | RMG uses a substantial amount of casual agency labour, who get near zero information before being sent out on deliveries. More of a problem in big cities with high labour turnover, and not a problem in the countryside where low skilled jobs with good fringe benefits might not be so plentiful. (I owned and ran an agency) | lefrene
03/10/2018 20:04 | Stitch up by the dodgy management, wanting to punish the Unions and their members before they could sell their shares. Management the world over, are only it for themselves | simonh88
03/10/2018 17:12 | Are you talking to me hvs? | toon1966
03/10/2018 17:10 | Best you move then aint it ? | hvs |
