I live up a long drive in the country so very appreciative of the service and charming postman who knows everyone in the village , and goes the extra mile . Give me Royal Mail any day rather than the ludicrous other providers coming to the wrong address because of Sat Nav errors , normally with oversize vans making a mess of the drive .

A bit tough on the long serving employees who have waited for the lock up to end on 15 October ..... it will be interesting to see if given the current price they stay put or sell out .

They never did any work all UNIONs so why is it TOUGH ???? Very very nice for the mismanagers in charge walking away with pay offs.

Thst how it works IN THE CITY walk away before it explodes and collect a pay off.

Losses, protecting your capital was the correct thing to do, you at least have had a divi or two. RMG still functions much like a government department, all pumped up on the latest wheeze whilst ignoring some very obvious basic things where money gets wasted every day. I have seen it, told them about it, and been ignored.

The broker pessimism in recent days has been excessive. If a company like this (scale, G7 economy, monopoly type position etc.) has no future then we are heading for a depression. I bought this morning

Datait, sounds like the NHS hospital where my wife works, she pulls her hair out in frustration some days! I know what it is like too, from back in the day working for the MOD. Funny thing is they all think they're so hard done by. I remember what a culture shock it was for me leaving the employ of HM's government to work for an American corporation. Still, lets get Corbyn in power and we can all be like it ;-)

What the unioin is doing to rmg will be what Corbyn will be doing to UK. Money doesn't grow on a tree so people need to work hard if they want better pay.

Royal mail workers are already much better paid than amazon and works nowhere near as hard.
