02/10/2018 12:35 | US trackers or any other tracker at this time is a bad choice. You cannot take a defensive position with trackers when markets are expected to fall, currently the US market is having the longest period of uninterrupted gains in American history. Trackers by there very nature have to follow the index and they will head into a bear market sooner rather then later. Share prices will always go up and down, I am happy with my dividend shares giving me steady cash flow throughout the year supplementing my pension | macthepak
02/10/2018 12:13 | in profit now just a little, after dealing costs £4.98p | macthepak

02/10/2018 11:52 | When Corbyn nationalises this they will only have to pay market price so crystallising losses for shareholders, classic value trap, whats the point of a high dividend if your capital is massively eroded? Dump this cxxp and buy US trackers. UK companies like dinosaurs, soom to be extinct in a brexit armageddon! | porsche1945
02/10/2018 11:33 | Although i'm in at 360 i'm fairly happy with that - 351 was the bottom so far - | tomboyb

02/10/2018 11:21 | A few moments ago HL offered to buy at 350p, my medium term forecast, but so far as I can see no trades at that price yet. OTOH my chart shows a bottom forming just above 350p. The question now is when do we get a rally before continuing down to my short term forecast of 300p? I think it might be today, certainly will be this week. A rally to 400p is still possible but I now think the target is around 390p to close the overnight gap, more likely 381p (yesterday/s bottom). I'm not tempted to go for what looks to me like a max possible 11% gain playing a max loss of 14%. So I'm still on the sidelines here. | mrtenpercent
02/10/2018 11:19 | 355p now - | tomboyb

02/10/2018 10:43 | dianecarberry, I too have seen that useless civil service 'box ticking' type management in RM. They are all time servers, who get promoted to their natural level of incompetence but never get removed except for a round of redundancies. They are all frightened of their own shadows and their biggest skills lie in political correctness and the back stabbing departments. As a business the problems are having to deliver the 'last mile' for other carriers mail at below cost, and having to deliver mail to remote places every day of the week, consequently vast amounts of empty or near empty mileage happens every day. I'm surprised that they don't play the 'green card' to get the rules changed so that they can significantly reduce this polluting wasted mileage. Then it's just their own logistical ineptitude left to deal with. | lefrene
02/10/2018 10:42 | Nothing to worry about. | datait
02/10/2018 10:38 | 360p - Down already but i think need at least a week to hold this trade - | tomboyb
02/10/2018 10:33 | My bladder tells me this will be near or above 400p by the end next week. Dividend will be maintained as the company has lots of cash flow. And my bladder loves dividends!! | macthepak
02/10/2018 10:27 | Looking at the market in general stocks seem to be weakening quite a bit - Overall looks v weak - One of two other bad results from some of the big boys could set off a contagion - Couple that with brexit worries - Flippin ek i'm beginning to sound like Marvin from Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy - | tomboyb
02/10/2018 10:14 | 360p - Bought a few - I hope we can get to the 400p target - If not then another losing trade for me - | tomboyb
02/10/2018 10:02 | The new guy is doing a bit of a chicken sink job and trying to put some reality into the numbers. Previous boss was useless but a good politician which is what counts.....for maxing out one's take. | meijiman |
