Ive just had a yahoo mews article passed to my by may partner saying you could be stranded in tenerife by jet2, so I rang jet2 up and they said nope, the only thing that will ever stop flights will be if the government says they are no longer allowed to fly there.

Its the opposite of the Pump and Dump with all this lunacy.
Anyone here know anyone who died from swine flue, bird flu, CJD, how about sars and that has a 10% mortality rate.
remember this is 10 % of who gets it not 10% of the population
like flu is just below 1% and corona virus which is another flu has 2% of who gets it, anyone know of anyone dyeing of the rhino virus.
anyone know of a non elderly person dying of flu ?
because its the mid rang of people that control the economy the ages where they are able to work.

this virus does not live well outside of a body,
so lets just think logically
will food be a risk, no because its not at body temperature and you cook it, so two methods that the virus dies.
those who eat raw meat freshly killed could be.
will this effect the travel industry, not according to the travel industry and I've telephoned them today as Im flying in two weeks
the only thing that will disrupt them is if the government says they are not allowed, they will not be imposing anything themselves.
I really fail to see how this virus can be as devastating as three years of trade of the FTSE, which is why RBS is falling as its a FTSE 100 company.

2% or those who get it will die and they are are mainly old people who no longer participate in the economy besides been a consumer, and in England and with our state pension, not a very big consumer at that.

UK Health Minister

“It is my understanding that this British national doesn’t in fact reside in the UK, but lives elsewhere in the world. Our sympathies and thoughts are with [his family] at this difficult time.”

Almost 700 passengers and crew who were travelling on the ship have become sick so far.

The Foreign Office says it is investigating reports that a British man who was aboard the Diamond Princess cruise ship has died from coronavirus.

A total of 19 people have tested positive for the disease in the UK so far after one case in Wales and two in England were confirmed today.

Meanwhile some bank news:

(I always thought that this prosecution was misconceived)

Telegraph:

The Serious Fraud Office has been dealt a devastating blow after a jury ruled that three former Barclays bankers did not commit fraud while raising billions from investors in Qatar at the height of the financial crisis.

Following a high-profile, five month trial that represents the first UK criminal case against bankers over actions they took during the financial crisis, a jury ruled that the trio were innocent on all counts.

The jury took just five and a half hours to make their decision.

If the men were found guilty they could have faced a maximum prison sentence of 10 years.

The SFO first announced charges against the bankers in 2017 following a five-year probe into how the bankers secured two cash calls with Qatar in 2008, when the banking system was on the brink of collapse. Unlike its rivals RBS and Lloyds, Barclays avoided a government bailout as a result of the emergency fundraising.
