The so called 'liquidity crisis' that Carney was worried about could be starting with gilts.
investors sell at the same time to meet margin calls etc but the cash is just not there.

Wow.last time Rbs was 31p it was losing 7bn a year, tier 1 was 3 % lower and it had 30%more toxic loans than it has now. Also PpI hadn't been provisioned for ! So much for fundamentals.

cfc, none of the above, todays fall is apparently caused by One Direction splitting up.

We've had every other excuse so it wouldn't surprise me.
