cfc1 normally when they run the price up ahead of the results they sell on the results.As the price had fallen ahead of the results perhaps it will be a reverse strategy, many buying on the results.

Already bought BP so I'll remain there in the hope crude recovers later in the year as that's when demand picks up.

It's a good punt, l would not bet against you. As you say gov have signalled the market their intention to start selling down, it's now upto RBS to deliver the positive news.

smurfy was either RBS or BP but fancy RBS (for once) to give us some good news!!! We know gov't wants out, we know most fines seem to be accounted for, we know housing market has gone ballistic and business booming....if they don't do well in this environment then they are f@d!

sorry Leeds...missed Operation Mayhem comment...well I think that was all about the West Side Boys (the notorious gang in SL) but we gave them a f'ing good kicking.. 22 Reg were right on their camp (as usual) guiding in the Para's mainly...I think this is what you are talking about?
