Think capex for 2019 is someth9ng like $70mill? So either cash in bank or earnt this yr for capex and the other for aqusiti9n or div.

True and a nice chunky dividend too. Wonder what they have up there sleeve next i am sure they will be as frustrated as I am regarding the price, considering we are only 80p higher than the tender offer. The spread and stamp duty put a lot of Aim guys off I guess.

They're going to have some hefty Capex spend soon though.

I think you need to rework your figures Dan. I worked out by about May we would have the entire mkt cap as cash. Excluding decom costs. Remember there's only 12.6m shares in issue and we are throwing of 30m dollars per quarter roughly.

56% if the market valuation in cash net of decommissioning liabilities, many of which are way down the line anyway.

Just too cheap.

Why are you expecting a farm out with clnr (tomorrow) bh?

're eog if these 3 farm ins don't get signed how can Hugh survive?
As u know I'm surprised he's still there now but, this would just cement further the (eog) laughing stock reputation.
Hugh actually seems like a nice bloke though so it would be a real shame because he obviously really believes in this having invested a significant amount of his own money which gives me "some" hope.

However the real concern are the munters left there, if he does the decent thing.
Here's still hoping something will come out of the left side, save the day and all of the above can be long forgotten!

All imho and best of luck all.

The wife, but at least I have Friday tomorrow when I was thinking it was today! That would have been the Brewdog IPA as well (5.4%!)
Anyway I will be disappointed tomorrow if CLNR don't announce a farmout, I'm relying on that one to make up for my loses on EOG!

BH I can tell u had a couple of pints mate, because u posted the same message twice!!

You are right, I took a day's leave tomorrow and ended up convincing myself it's Friday today! Now I'm not so disappointed that CLNR didn't announce a farmout deal today! Didn't get the chaser as I was told "if you are not going to order we might as well go" after I posted that last message!

Dh & FB, shame to waste those beers so I've just drunk the two I would have bought you if we hit £12 today! Also shared one of the deserts - 4 American pancakes, vanilla ice cream and maple syrup! Now I'm deciding what to have as a chaser 8~)

The markets are weak today. Generally you'll get more sellers on a weak market day. Doesn't have to be stock specific.

Any pullback is a buying opportunity if you think a stock is a good investment.

Plenty of selling today.....what do they know that I don't, personally I think they are crazy to sell at this price.

If boredom sets in then well worth re-watching the Andrew Austin interview to get an idea of the potential.

He's got 28.3% of the company so is highly driven to engineer a rising share price because it will personally benefit him. A lot.

Current valuation at below 1x EBITDA.

Regular dividends and/or share buyback likely.

Reviewing acquisition opportunities.

Newsflow could drop at any time and get the share price moving up very strongly again as it did last year.

In the meantime the company continues to generate huge amounts of cash.

fardels I agree, you only have to look at the chart to see that we are going up slowly but surely, which is a longer lasting route to take in my view. Days of rises then consolidation are good. The inherent value here will be realised but all in good time. Of course we would all like to see a faster value realisation but that tends to follow with big retraces too, which may be good for day traders but not for the investors, who seem to be in the majority here.
