I3E now have a theoretical STOIIP of some 500mmbo on a couple of prospects in addition to Liberator, and "assigning" an RF the same as Blake (50%) the lads on the board are coming up with some very large "reserves" figures for themselves.. All pie in the sky of course and they need $30m CAPEX to poke any of it.

Hence ^^^^ I sold.

I3E assets have a lot of synergy with RRE though. The lads on I3E board seem to think that AA and NC may have fallen out, which would explain why NC now NED not CEO and AA pulled out of the deal during the 90 day exclusivity. AA must think I3E BOD muppets to give 90 days exclusive - assuming it was RRE and not Repsol they were talking to.

Agree FB I think iog got better chance with debt than i3e hence there could well be some link up with i3e here but I'd like it very cheap as am not as enamoured with their assets as u.

Well they've bought and invested very well to date and I think they'd be very careful of reducing the cash cow capability of the status to date.

This is dynamic and cash generative though, Dh. I still like IOG but the money markets are turning/have turned against O&G players that need to raise finance. Oil price in mid sixties will dampen lenders' enthusiasm yet further.

I expect we'll pick up I3E or its assets, or do a farm-in very cheaply shortly - they'll not get $140m of debt in this market.

My only worry is that they buy something that the market considers a bad deal. I would rather consolidate our position at present and grow that cashpile. There will always be assets going cheap.

Wish they'd sort the number of shares in issue figure out. I wonder what our pro-active board are considering next to get the price up. Management buyout at £8.25 share

Surprised to see the small sells this morning, just look at the chart, on 2 levels of support and primed to go North. I'm fully loaded or would be buying, not selling.

Dh - I had this on my watch list from £3.60 on 29 June and obviously think the same! For now I would be happy to see a new high by next Friday and maybe a tenner sometime later in the year?! Must be overdue to be tipped by someone of significance other than you and I that is! ;-)

I really looked closely at 3 GBP and wish I'd bought then (pretty obvious statement lol!)
