They need to narrow the spread then, don't they? If there's a lot on the market.

Been buying a few last few days (along with a few JOG). Prices suggested there has been a supplier imo. May have a few more if it stays around here for long enough td

Top up now whilst it's easy. There will be a frenzy to buy at prices well above this in the next 2 months.

Yes, one day, hopefully soon, the seller will be cleared. Lets face it there are not that many shares to go at :-)

Oil and gas (as well as other commodities) are going to be strongly influenced by a dovish Fed this week. I think/hope they will use the current shutdown as an excuse to delay past March. This will be a huge buy signal.

Strange, we don't appear to have a seller dropping 2500 blocks like we had a fortnight ago, but something is holding us back.

You could use any div to buy more shares in RRE.

Sorry should read see value in any deals.

One point I like with this company, it will not sit on cash but will return to holders, that's the beauty of having the top man owning 30%. Win win for holders.

If a divi or further buy back was to come it would be because AA could not devalue on any available deals, then a divi like last year would be on the cards. Win win for holders as a return would come from the ever increasing cash pile.

I do like the sound of "pounce".

I'm with Duckdown. I'd rather they keep plenty of cash to hand in order that they can pounce on the right opportunity should it come along. Not good it they return money one minute then have to raise it shortly after!

Yes I'm rather impressed by AA. That's why I bought into IGas some years ago. Nice to see the balance between gas and oil is appreciated. IGAS was producing 3000bopd onshore but had large debts and no gas (well a lot potentially in the ground) and the oil price collapse scuppered them. I don't see him letting that happen here. Smart cookie. Perhaps a tad wide.

If you look at the Core finance interview on the 18 th December think AA stated 50 mill in reserves and we have Arran coming on steam next year that's not included?

If we look at SQZ after buying Erskine production from BP at 3000boepd, we see a share price of 30p and 265m shares in issue. Mkt cap £79m. If we look at RRE with 12,590,403 shares in issue and average production this year of 11200boepd the current 600p share price gives us a mkt cap of just ice £75m. Now being that we all thought (or holders did) that SQZ was undervalued at the time, what conclusion must we draw for RRE share price?I've tried to ignore decommissioning as that's not free cash and as unrestricted cash RRE has over twice what SQZ held at the time. SQZ P2 at the time was less than 5mmboe so that counts in RRE favour and I've just realised I've invested here without being able to find out what the current reserves are which with any other oil co would worry me.

I would hazard a guess that a further return of capitol to holders if no deal is to be done will be forthcoming soon, last year the divi was declared on the 15th of Feb. if you look at the Core finance interview with Malcy a month or so ago AA clearly stated this is what they will be doing.

Fair enough FB. Each to their own as you say. I do think the Repsol news might change things a bit though considering they were pretty much ready to do a deal last year.

Whether it comes to fruition this time and what the terms would be for I3E, we will have to wait and see!
