02/12/2022 18:50 | Others please join in... RM shares were up about 10% on Mon this week when they announced the sale of two non-core (not really but you can make a case for it) business units. Today, up another 9% on the back of no news at all. Maybe the MMs know something we don't? | geoffw999
28/11/2022 11:17 | Press release this am of sale worth up to £16m: RM plc: Proposed sale of the RM Integris and RM Finance Business hxxps://www.rmplc.co | geoffw999

12/11/2022 09:29 | In reply to "Smithie610 Nov '22 - 14:11 - 175 of 175. you understand why "Configuration of SaaS licenses £7.7m" is so high ?? it seems nuts I thought SaaS was a pay as you go service, without a big upfront licence payment. The transparency from the co. to investors doesn't appear to be very good imo." No, doesn't make sense to me either and the numbers (for a company of this size) are huge. It is mentioned a few times in the reports but without any detailed explanation and there's no clues as to whether there's more to come. Same as for the warehousing costs. All that said, I invested near the recent low and will hold for now. | geoffw999

10/11/2022 13:53 | "Smithie68 Nov '22 - 08:32 - 173 of 173 anyone know how much the warehouse project has cost & how much money per year it is expected to save ? (increasing profits) (1 new warehouse to replace 5)" No. But I did note 4 "adjustments" to the Income Statement in the 2022 Interim Report: Amortisation of acquisition related intangibles £1.0m Restructuring costs £0.0m Dual running costs relating to investment strategy £2.8m Configuration of SaaS licenses £7.7m I'm 95% sure the third item alludes to dual warehousing ("running") costs in the first six months of the FY. [Personally, I'm more worried about the fourth, nearly 8 mill on SaaS!]. This follows on from the previous FY "£7.0m of costs incurred during FY21 in relation to the implementation of our new IT platform have been expensed following the implementation of new Software as a Service (“SaaS”) accounting guidance. £2.6m Amortisation of acquisition intangibles, dual running and one-off property costs". So the previous FY and recent HY numbers are a bit muddled but we do have a sense of scale of the £spent. I haven't been able to find any profitability forecast for the new warehouse in any of RM's recent public documents. HTH. | geoffw999

06/11/2022 14:54 | anyone want to post any calcs. for how they value this company, for this week & in say 1 year ? (& how that compares with the current cap. value) ----- renumeration committee competent or incompetent ? bonuses paid to the CEO for the last 2 financial years = £641k ...while the sh. price has collapsed ! Proves that the renum. committ. were/are incompetent imo. ------ EPS averaged over the last 5 financial years is ~20p !! 1/2 the current sh. price !!! | smithie6
04/11/2022 16:13 | Most probably, loads delayed reporting big buys. MMS do not want the show the big buys, they will put a stop on live reporting. A lot of people now know Avalon is a big buyer and MM most probably has to fill the buy orders. | me ole china
04/11/2022 16:12 | agree - MMs actually seem desperate for sellers the way they keep upping the bid price | doodle1

04/11/2022 14:51 | Well he contradicted himself. I'm just happy the right people in Harwood and a trade buyer are buying. This stock won't be around much longer. | tommygunn21
04/11/2022 14:40 | This is exactly what he said. Today buy volume is not included in the rns. | complex machinery
04/11/2022 14:32 | No they didn't mate. The TR-1 relates to the 1m they bought @ 27.5p on the 2nd November. The RNS clearly states the date the threshold was crossed which was 2nd NovYou have 48hrs from trade date to disclose your holding if you go above a percentage point. Todays volume I have already explained. | tommygunn21
04/11/2022 14:24 | Imo. As they took some on the 2nd too. Await rns for today's buys. | babbler |
