08/9/2022 09:14 | 1mill @ 29.5p - | tomboyb
08/9/2022 09:08 | Yes. Tripled my position near the lows :) | wigwammer
08/9/2022 09:00 | Well I've taken a few for a trade - MMs may look to shift this up to offload - | tomboyb
07/9/2022 20:33 | Smells like an emergency fundraise on the way. Or is it even possible it's something to do with the Truss regime change? Kit Malthouse has been appointed education secretary. He's the fourth education secretary since July, the fifth in a year and the ninth since the Conservatives took office in 2010. What a way to not run a country. | typo56
07/9/2022 18:08 | Perhaps they know something... | glavey
07/9/2022 17:44 | 9,351,667 sold at 26p (trade #115) 2,000,000 sold at 26.5p (trade #116) That's the reason for the fall. Obviously an institutional seller being c.10% of the company. Strange to see such a massive dump in one go. Surely could've got more by drip-feeding? | bozzy_s
07/9/2022 17:26 | He may be trying to say that jot, but he seems to get himself a bit tangled in self importance.. because this is what he actually wrote "Are your posts intended as dark irony?." .. Hmmm, are they? | wigwammer
07/9/2022 17:23 | Looking at the sg , its in crash mode , patience required and deep pockets . | jotoha2
07/9/2022 17:20 | Agree imastu. You sound like someone who reads the report, so respect your view. Interestingly IMO, the net debt figure reached £30m max during the prior full year, according to the last annual report. But that didn't stop investors owning the shares at multiples of the current price. | wigwammer
07/9/2022 17:20 | I belief ESS inv is trying to point out that on the 25th aug you stated the share price was good value , when in fact it was well overpriced , and has now fallen further , so probably best not to come over as some kind of guru. | jotoha2
07/9/2022 17:15 | Looks a redonkculous discount on a desperate sale. gotta be worth a punt at this level imo. | empirestate
07/9/2022 17:15 | :-) Honestly, compared to some of the unhinged personality disorders on this site, you're both perfectly rational (I'm not...). Probably best to be constructive about this particular share - some specific research and facts might serve everybody well. Might even do some myself... | imastu pidgitaswell
07/9/2022 17:15 | Again imastu.. previous post intended for the absolutely essential, if not particularly insightful, investor :) | wigwammer
07/9/2022 17:13 | Incidentally - late trade of 2,000,000 at 26.5, preceded by one of 9.35m at 26. Might be the end of it, might not. | imastu pidgitaswell
07/9/2022 17:12 | Again, so what? It doesn't tell anybody here anything about RM, nor does it say a great deal about my overall investment performance. But it does suggest some rather unpleasant things about you.. ATB | wigwammer
07/9/2022 17:11 | Funny - I also know MCB from 2020/21, but not been near it in a long time. Debt and margin squeeze... Sounds like we all follow these kind situations, but I do think the market environment is very different to 2020/21 and before. Debt is a real issue and once a slide starts, the vultures usually wade in - I have always preferred cash rich businesses for that reason; it gives time to recover should anything go badly wrong. Especially so at the moment. FWIW, I think the issues are more than simply headline debt - it is seasonal (they say) and I suspect there are some operational issues as well, including the system challenges. I just don't know enough and I suspect the market doesn't know enough. But it is also the opportunity - this could go up 10 times and back to levels from 12 months ago if in fact they sort stuff. If... | imastu pidgitaswell
07/9/2022 17:02 | I know your posts from here and MCB, which is down approx 70% in 12 months. Good luck. | essentialinvestor
07/9/2022 16:57 | For what it's worth, I retired very early in life after successful investments in Skyepharma, Anglo Asian Mining, and other highly geared investments that others dismissed because of the debt angle. Every time, there is anEssential investor who bangs on about the debt, as if the market hasn't seen it. Yes - well done - there is some debt and it has gone up. Does that mean the stock is worthless then, and if not, what is it worth essential investor? | wigwammer
07/9/2022 16:53 | So what? I took a small position, I got in too early, I can add now if I choose. The point of the board is to discuss the stock. It is hard to believe anyone is learning much from your posts about "dark irony" or that "debt went up" from a few months back, unless they are incapable of reading a simple report. | wigwammer
07/9/2022 16:42 | Wigwammer25 Aug '22 - 11:03 - 52 of 89 0 0 0 Large volumes going through today. Seller out, perhaps… looks great value at this level IMO :) This is what you thought on 25 August. | essentialinvestor
07/9/2022 16:32 | Fair enough imastu. It's an awful market, but at least RM should have relatively resilient end markets, and already have a valuation reflective of the risks... sub 0.13x sales. | wigwammer
07/9/2022 16:30 | This is the piece of deep dive research that essential investor shared with the board a few months ago. Careful, you may need a PhD to understand it, and glasses if you didn't notice it for yourself in the report.. "Where has that net debt come from, thought they were about debt free?." | wigwammer
07/9/2022 16:29 | Understood. You're right about the pension issue - and it will carry on improving as actuarial deficits will continue to fall with interest rates and gilt yields rising. The trouble is that it doesn't help with debt levels. I would have to be feeling much braver than I am at the moment to actually buy these at the moment. But, well, following. | imastu pidgitaswell
07/9/2022 16:25 | Again imatsu, my post was meant for our simply essential investor. Lol :) | wigwammer |
