Martyn Ratcliffe's substantial holding sold and the share price doesn't bat an eye lid. Is it reasonable to assume someone has bought them straight off?

If annual revenue is going to drop by £40 million between 2013 and 2015 maybe they should keep hold of the cash for now.

Excellent results considering, and talk of returning cash pile to share holders. (Plan in place to deal with pension deficit). Looks like Wellcome do know what they are doing!

Is there reason to worried with RM Education with regards to its massive pension hole?If the bond market bubble does burst could that send RM under? I don't understand pensions so if someone could explain that would be very helpful.

Only just noticed that the Chairman purchased 100,000 shares at 71p on Thursday last week but the announcement was made late, after the market closing for some unknown reason.

Does Martin Ratcliffe still benefit from the share option deal he made a while back? seem to recall he had a substantial holding as a result. Haven't seen anything to suggest he has sold so presumably he is still confident in the company

The director purchase the other day was recent enough and substantial enough to suggest that the potential difficulties going forward are manageable. The increased institutional buying announced to-day seems to suggest the same view. Also think the company is in much better financial shape going forward than it was 12-18 months ago as outlined in the recent results.

Would RM's distribution channel to schools be threatened with WIFI wired schools, with every student using a notebook under the BYOD policy? Here is an interview with a leading US textbook publisher http://video.ft.com/v/1712665387001/Hurdles-for-iPad-education-drive Content owners are protected in this revolution and may well prosper, but what middlement RM? Their job is probably going to be easier to replicate, more competitive and less renumerative. I don't currently hold their stock, just tempted by their strong valuation metrics...but could well be a value trap here folks. Anyone have an idea why Ratcliffe left? I recall he had a very generous option package....was it because he couldn't see them going into the money?

Valuation: Market cap at 75pence is £ 70M Cash is £ 35M Operating cash flow in 2012 £ 20M. Compelling valuation levels. Yielding 4%, good management team. Big bear point is serving the public sector.
