20/9/2023 09:27 | Seems like 5200 is the floor for now. Hoping it hold's otherwise I think it's back to around 4500 / 4700 level. Once it holds its back to 6000 and hopefully beyond | dlewis1

18/9/2023 04:48 | Iron Ore still climbing 125.5 a ton now | craftyale
16/9/2023 09:38 | Surely its not just China and company specific influences that dropped the price from 6000. At that point the gloom surrounding increasing interest rates was still gathering momentum. A 7% dividend compared to current “safe” savings rates is not a big safety margin, if there might be any threat to RIO from economic downturn. It will be interesting to see if this rebounds further towards 6000. Quite a few income stocks and funds appear to be bottoming out. Until it turns out that they aren’t of course. | yump

15/9/2023 16:41 | Wall Street is parsing through a mixed batch of economic data ahead of the Fed’s policy decision, set to be announced Sept. 20. The central bank is widely expected to hold rates steady next week, but traders will seek insight into how policy makers are thinking about inflation from here. Triple witching | misca2
15/9/2023 16:09 | Why has Wall Street (and thus RIO) tanked? | eggbaconandbubble
15/9/2023 16:00 | Rio, a long term friend! He keeps on giving. Sometimes I trade him, but he keeps on giving. Looks like a short squeeze, backed by loads of fundamentals... lot more to go I hope.. | freedomexpress747
15/9/2023 11:57 | Not a typo. RIO moves by over 100 points in a day. Not expecting a straight line upward movement but all this needs is 4 days consistent move at an average of 175 points which is not far fetch once there's momentum and positive sentiment | dlewis1
15/9/2023 07:21 | RIO Aud up, China up. US up. Iron Ore up. Gold, Brent all up. RIO should have another good day but more importantly a great year end and a fantastic future. | craftyale
14/9/2023 20:12 | I hold all 3 and AAL has been crazy volatile, mainly to the downside, this year that's for sure. I take your point though that a good day or two can be wiped out in a blink of an eye in this sector. | tuftymatt
14/9/2023 15:19 | I've seen too many spikes up in the past to be followed by spike down in the next few days as happened here last week. Buy order in at 49 cos you never know. Aal and Glen going great guns too, but I don't see them as volatile. Good luck all. | xtomo
14/9/2023 14:46 | Yes I agree at sub 5000, when closer to 4500, it was a screaming buy and I should have been braver when adding then. It is tough though to buy when the heard is moving against you but it's true that fortune favours the brave. Good luck all 👍🏻 | tuftymatt
14/9/2023 14:40 | Over the last 3 years the share price has moved between circa 45 and 65. IMO we will see 65 by year end. This has been a screaming buy sub 50 and it is only now starting to reawaken. I hold approx 2k shares. GLA. | craftyale
14/9/2023 13:24 | While this will push 6000 again at some point I don't think it's going to happen in the next couple of days. Is that a typo and did you mean months? | tuftymatt
14/9/2023 13:02 | I've not actually set myself a target to auto sell but I'm expecting the price to run up to around 60-62 in a couple of days and maybe test the last high. Will look at selling close to the 62 mark depending on sentiment | dlewis1
14/9/2023 11:32 | My phone tinged and I've hit my target of £52 unexpectedly. I hope I haven't sold too early. I know lots of volatility here so who knows. Good luck all. | xtomo |
